Jessica Simpson was asked by Barbara Walters on The View today if she’d talked to John Mayer since her blabbed in his Playboy interivew that he found Simpson to be like sexual napalm to him. Simpson’s reply to Walters was:

Now that her Oscars reign is over, Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes have announced to the world via a that they have gone their separate ways. Says their legal eagle:
“Kate and Sam are saddened to announce that they separated earlier this year. The split is entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement. Both parties are fully committed to the future joint parenting of their children.”
Well… as Hollywood is all about Oscar winning filmmakers, ruling at the moment with spouses and ex-spouses of cinema and the arts (James Cameron, Suzi Amis, Kathryn Bigelow, Linda Hamilton‘s camp), these two will probably still collaborate in Hollywood films, awards shows and #1 box office strategies together in the future.
Divorce is always sad. Wishing them both the best futures ever with their children and their art. It’s always hard, when one person in a relationship gets an enormous amount of success in their career, while the other partner appears to stagnate. Which is what they call “the curse of the Oscar” in Hollywood couples love lives. Reese Witherspoon, Julia Roberts and Benjamin Bratman etc, etc, etc.

Why is it that famous people always want a sense of immortality?
Brazilians are just too trick with their bodies. Supermodel of the world Gisele Bundchen puts her ab-perfect post-pregnancy Madonna stomach down to “muscle memory” in the fact that once popping out newborn babe, Benjamin Brady her stomach just snapped right back to its original shape, with the help of a bit of Chinese body-wisdom in the form of Kung Fu Fighting exercise.
More remarkable, was that Gisele wanted to call Benjamin, River. She’s like a hori. [I have an Aunty named Awa, which means river back home in New Zealand, and my sister named her son Jordon after the Jordan river] … so as an indigenous thinking soul, I think Gisele is pretty cool.
Says Gisele: ““I wanted him to be called River because I wanted something always flowing, immortal. My husband said, ‘There’s no way we’re going to call him River.’ But my father’s name is Reinoldo, so it’s a homage to him. And it’s like water.”
Quite Americano spiritual really. Like the movie, A River Runs Through It film in the mode of Brad Pitt and Robert Redford. But really a Hollywood nod to Brazil about the Amazon river and her people, that Gisele supports as a humanitarian. Nice.

The art of celebrity is a mass produced image. That’s often all it is. As Warhol showed.
Mass = fame. Quantity over quality. If you can combine both, a quality star product plus mass produce their image… as an artist you’re onto a winner. Or, originality isn’t always the biggest way to sell or generate money for the economy. Mass production is in these times.
I’m having a pop focus on Horiwood.Com at the minute, because one of the best things America has to help recover a trillion dollar deficit, is an ability to make and sell pop art, pop artists and pop culture around the world. So, let’s try and support that. Banana yellow is always such a great color, when looking at pop art’s commentary on American society. Too true. :)

Mad Men‘s Rich Sommer decided to give his co-star, Christina Hendrick‘s a run for her celebrity money, at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Improv Theater, next store to Birds cafe in Franklin village, Hollywood this weekend.

Anyway back to Rich Sommer, because as you know in Hollywood… when you’re an actor you’re either buff like Ryan Reynolds or Taylor Lautner or you can either go the way of comedic types like Seth Rogin. The latter is what Rich Sommers is doing when he took it all off, and stepped out onto UCB’s stage in the buff, to show he had a sense of humor for 42 Below vodka’s Night of 140 Tweets.

Face Book’s Mark Zuckerberg is 25 and worth $4 billion. The Harvard graduate harnessed the power of social networking, combining IT technology, developing a business that rests on the premise that telephone companies, can’t have all the money to link good people up with other good people, just to share information.
Blah blah on a telephones, exists only in someone’s memory once a verbal conversation has been had. s a result, blah blah is often sketchy, as there is never any accountability to it, once words have been spoken without a trace; so Zuckerberg added pics upload-ability plus copy/text ability… to rival phone companies’ modes of communication technology and give us every daylittle people, our 15 minutes of fame, via the business building block… of “a Face Book profile.”
Love this kid. He’s a good role model in these times for American youngsters to think big and dream bigger. Knowledge (and communicating knowledge) equals shared power. And on that note… whoever does “FaceSpace”, like for reals… is going to be onto a winner. :)

For the second week, as expected, Tim Burton‘s Alice in Wonderland dominates at the box office in its second week. The film is on track to take in $85 million this week, which would bring expected earnings to $200 million so far, after this weekend. 3D is the future of blockbuster films.

You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill, cannot be hidden.
Here’s one for my UK people. When Prince William Windsor was a baby, his first public appearance took place at the historic Government House grounds.
For his debut to the world in Aotearoa New Zealand his parents hose to photograph the young Prince in line to the British throne, with an iconic … that all babies love in New Zealand. It’s a Kiwi classic.
Incidentally, Waitangi where Willam’s descendant Queen Victoria entered a treaty with the Maori people of New Zealand is located in the northern tribal region of New Zealand of the Ngapuhi Tonu Nui tribe–the largest Maori tribe of descendants in New Zealand as well as being the ancient tribe of Horiwood’s maternal grandmother Ruihi Haratuku Ngakuru. A lady who was fierce in spirit and rich in love for her family and granchildren. For her great service and love to her whanau (family) and community in the City of West Auckland, Ruihi became the Queen Bee of us all in her whanau (family).
Always remembered, even in Hollywood… for her brand of no nonsense entertainment and her great heart of Love. Horiwood’s grandfather Wiremu [William] Punga Hill, of the Ngati Whatua Maori tribe, is descended from William Hill of England as well. Wiremu remembered fondly too for being a man astutely aware of World politics and his tall stature and vice-like gripping hand shake, like steel. :)
Prince William is the UK’s King Beekeeper of the Commonwealth nations Heads of State. If honey is a nation’s culture, Maori-Kiwis, Kiwis and Prince William know how to spin culture into honey. It’s how his family and New Zealand make authentic culture the world admires and loves.
