LOW LEVELS OF RADIATION ARE FOUND IN WEST COAST’S MILK
As we look at Japan’s nuclear crises teachings to us in the West coping from trauma experiences, the West Coast is drawn in a little bit more closer to empathize with our brothers and sisters of Japan, when we look at a bottle of milk.
Mercury News reports via San Jose - WASHINGTON — Low levels of radiation have turned up in milk samples from California and Washington.
Traces of radioactive Iodine-131 were found in milk in the two states, according to federal and state authorities who are monitoring for contamination as the nuclear crisis unfolds in Japan. But the officials say the levels are still 5,000 times below levels of concern and do not represent a public health threat.”
