TRINITY BROOKE AND SIMON BROOKE, TRIATHLETES OF THE U.K, CAN WHIP IT!

Looking at triathletes & Simon Brooke relaxing in a London park, reminds me of vintage Lee Majors & Farrah Fawcett for some reason. Must be the beaming smiles of a couple in love and a shared passion of fitness and sports, for these relatively new parents of baby Oscar Brooke.

I hear that when this couple compete in triathlons that they can Whip It smoother than an Aussie cockatoo can pop it to a Willow Smith song. Good stuff.

Hey Team. Hi & Kia Ora from Hollywood, California.

10 POSTS YOU FIND AMUSING – 6.26.2010

Tonight, I’m on a date with you all. It’s um… riveting. Here’s ten things you find amusing as we take the time to remember the beauty of spirit in Farrah Fawcett and the musical genius of Michael Jackson who both passed away a year ago. People like them, can never be replaced as I write this at the feet of a lady who can never be replaced in this world either. Special souls.

Here’s a snap shot of U.S tonight. Thanks for showing your love on this blog. #10 is ‘my’ girl, Miley Cyrus.

1. Maori Opera with Dame Kiri Te Kanawa

2. Farrah Fawcett is remembered

3. Ariel View: Twilight Eclipse premiere night

4. Jared Leto is a cockatoo in Wales

5. iMinerals Phone App. TM

6. Rich Sommer of Mad Men

7. Breaking News: Princess Kaiulani is in theaters

8. Dinner at Hamburger Hamlet with Ruta Lee & Co

9. Kellan Lutz as Robin for Halloween 2009

10. Fresh L.A ink: Miley Cyrus says Love is in the ear

As, I’ve never really pretended to be a legitimate celebrity  blogger, with that catty tone that just gets more brittle over time–I’m more love, peace, mashed sweet potato yams and mung beans–here’s the entertaining Michael K of New York City, getting a spotlight in Los Angeles today, with his trademark snark, when covering the year anniversary of two of the greatest Angeleno’s who ever lived in California.

Says Mikey K: “It was just one year ago today when Michael Jackson slipped on his rhinestone glove for the last time and jumped on Farrah Fawcett piggyback-style to ride her golden feathery waves of glamour all the way to heaven (Theme song for that image: The Neverending Theme song).

Who could forget seeing Detective La Toya dramatically run out of the hospital, drop to her knees, raise her fists into the heavens and declare vengeance on the evil souls responsible for this. At the same time, Jaclyn Smith was across town doing the same thing over Farrah Fawcett’s passing. Okay, I was stoned like a Canadian this time last year, so maybe I remember it differently, but let’s just go with it anyways.” Isn’t Michael K, just a charm. What would America do without him?

TAP DANCING 101 with GREGORY HEINZ, SAMMY DAVIS JR. AND “FRIENDS”

This image of a faucet, reminded me of the freedom of spirit found in the art of tap dancing in America. Here’s a clip for your enjoyment featuring the late Gregory Heinz playing with Sammy Davis Jr. and American tap dancing greats … as a great reminder to always Just dance around the obstacles we may encounter in life.

[Image of Hollywood icon, Farrah Fawcett - courtesy of Co Carver website for Farrah Fawcett’s legacy of Joie de Vie for life, love, happiness, and the beauty of the spirit found in knowing how to tap dance or ride a long board skate board for kicks. What I personally love about all forms of dance and dancing… is that dancing as an art moves a focus of life from the mental into the physical aspects of living and celebrating life.

Only fellow dancers with heart and soul can enter in to this joy. Dance is a language. These American legends of tap–remind us how much there is to look forward to as we get older as we dance our way through life.

[true fact: in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, India, the South Pacific and Europe-- a faucet is called "a tap."

RYAN O’NEAL ADDRESSES OSCARS FARRAH FAWCETT SNUB 2010

It was a great night for women as embodied by Kathryn Bigelow‘s historic win for best director last night at the Oscars. Not such a good night for Farrah Fawcett‘s friends and family though, who witnessed their friend, get snubbed in the Academy’s In Memorandum scetion of the evening. It really did bring on the question of ‘why?’ for most viewers.

Ryan O’Neal tells Radar Online: “It was a terrible decision and very hurtful,” O’Neal said. “Farrah was a member of the Academy for over 40 years and we could not believe she did not get a mention.” Patrick Swayze, Michael Jackson and Brittany Murphy were included in the segment. REMEMBERING FARRAH FAWCETT ON OSCARS NIGHT 2010

Just because the Oscars forget (snubbed?) this legend of Hollywood tonight in their mentions. Once an angel always an angel and Farrah Fawcett will always be synonymous with Los Angeles, The City of Angels for her contributions both onscreen and offscreen to Hollywood cultural life.

FARRAH FAWCETT 26th MOST FASCINATING HOLLYWOOD STAR 2009

Farrah Fawcett rates as the 26th most interesting Hollywood star this year on Horiwood.Com as a trending topic and celebrity in 2009.

Farrah’s beauty was the stuff that Hollywood legends are made of. In her day, The Charlies Angels star was the Angelina Jolie beauty of Hollywood; the jewel in the Hollywood star system.

When she developed anal cancer, her brave battle in her final days documented in Farrah’s Story moved a nation.

It was her beauty of spirit that shone through in her final film she shared with all. What a woman.

Although Fawcett’s death was quickly overshadowed by the unexpected death of Michael Jackson the same week, Farrah Fawcett is remembered in Hollywood today by angel inconography that is everywhere in American entertainment this year.

Fondly remembered and sadly missed. What a star she was.

FARRAH FAWCETT LEFT NO MONEY TO RYAN O’NEAL

… and he’s cool with that. Says Ryan to E! Entertainment: about the late Charlie’s Angels stars decision:

“Farrah’s and my relationship was based on a deep love and respect for one another and for our son Redmond,” the 68-year-old actor, who had proposed to his on-again love in the months before her death from cancer in June, said in a statement obtained by E! News.

“After discussing how her financial affairs would be handled in the event of her passing we agreed that our son Redmond would be the primary beneficiary of her estate. These were Farrah’s wishes and I am perfectly happy with them.

“I sincerely hope that everyone will remember and celebrate the legacy that Farrah left behind, and will now let her rest in peace.”

Well said.
