Malann was originally from Russia before she came to live in Los Angeles.
Pocahontas was her super hero of choice to play on Halloween in West Hollywood last night. Malann was drinking coffee for two.
She’s a sweetheart. Dressed like this, Malann reminds me a little of my friend, Q’orianka Kilcher of Peru, who played Pocahontas too opposite Christian Bale and Colin Farrell when she was 14 years-of-age.

Hollywood, California (Tuesday May 11th)–Last night Colin Farrell opened the Princess Kaiulani film benefit event for Peru at The Majestic Crest Theater in Westwood..
Princess Kaiulani tells the ‘true story of a Hawaiian princess’ attempts to maintain the independence of the island against the threat of American colonization.’
The film received applause throughout the screening and also at movie’s close. It was an idyllic period film; both captivating and beautiful in its settings of quaint English countryside and the timeless tropical beauty that is Hawaii. The film is a visual treat.
Starring in the lead role, Q’orianker Kilcher was every bit an American princess both onscreen and off at the VIP post screening function.
