PIPE BRANDING ON MELROSE AS AMERICAN POP ART CULTURE – A is for AMERICA and AOTEAROA, NEW ZEALAND

You’re not anyone hip in Los Angeles unless your brand is somehow plastered onto Melrose Avenue.

Here’s an example or pied piper branding blowing up from West Hollywood neighborhood. Once it gets noticed here, it then blows up right across the USA in the hip set circles of the youth of the world.

My thought for today is - A is for America and for Aotearoa too (the Maori name for New Zealand). Let’s go with that. In the words of President Abraham Lincoln: “I like to see a man proud of the place in which he lives.  I like to see a man live so that his place will be proud of him.”

And in the words of Marilyn vos Savant, in Parade Magazine: “What is the essence of America?  Finding and maintaining that perfect, delicate balance between freedom “to” and freedom “from.”

Finally in the words of Adlai Stevenson: “[P]atriotism… is not short, frenzied outbursts of emotion, but the tranquil and steady dedication of a lifetime.”

In terms of the Melrose District fashion economy today – A is also for Australia, whose young people are shopping every weekend in West Hollywood in the retail fashion sector, keeping this District moving via the South Pacific dollar. Nice one Aussie! Let’s go America and Aotearoa, NZ.
