His wife, Vicky B, is expecting baby number 4, he has his royal invite to the ‘wedding of the decade’ and soccer star David Beckham is looking so much happier in L.A at the minute.
Back in training with LA Galaxy, Becks returns from training with Tottenham Hotspur of the Barclay Premiere League during the MLS off-season.
It is one of the few times you ever need to wear a beanie in L.A at the minute. Today’s a brisk L.A day. That’s for sure!

“The February 1, 2010 cover of The New Yorker had Obama at hello. According to editor-in-chief David Remnick, Obama was so charmed by the image of himself walking and then falling into water that he requested an autographed copy.
The cover was meant to portray Obama’s rocky path to healthcare reform. Remnick told CNN’s Howard Kurtz:
“I think Axelrod and Obama were laughing hysterically over this cover. And the fact to their credit, within a matter of weeks, that they reversed the really sinking trend that they were experiencing, and they passed health care. And the White House certainly reversed its downward trend pretty quickly after that cover. I’m not saying the cover was anywhere near responsible for it.”~Melissa Noble.

While appearing on the Late Show with David Letterman, David Beckham brought this gruesome photograph of achilles tendon surgery. He also talked about his love of playing for the LA Galaxy until his soccer contract ends, and he puts a spotlight on the Soccer World Cup where Beckham will take the field for England. Alex Meraz, Rihanna, David Beckham and Adam Lambert all have mohawks right now. Perhaps the return of the Mohawk is in part due to the casting of Alex Meraz and the Native American Indian lads of Stephenie Meyer‘s Twilight Saga’s New Moon.
Rihanna felt the New Moon vibe and incorporated a modern haute take on the Mohawk with her comeback journey and Rated R album. Soccer great David Beckham followed Rihanna’s lead in support of the singer’s comeback and youngster Adam Lambert, stole it, alongwith Rihanna’s love of spikey things too at the moment.
Regardless of who started it and who is generating the trend, it belongs to Native American Indians and is a distinctly American look. The USA is a mohawk nation right now who is on the war path. Kinda fierce really. Attitude for Africa!

Last night at an LA Glaxay soccer game in Carson. David Beckham debuted his new hair do. Think pop star Rihanna, but more Cindy Lauper from the 80s.

POSH SPICE GETS HER ROYAL WEDDING INVITE – TEN POP CULTURE NEWSY BITES – 2.21.11
In the UK’s favorite game of ‘whose invited to the April wedding,’ David and Victoria Beckham have been invited. The California based couple take two of the 1900 available spots.
That show is shaping up to be quite a good piece of television. Victoria last made headlines by saying that with her current pregnancy, she’s fine having another boy, but would like to welcome her first daughter, saying, “[If I] don’t have a girl this time, then maybe I’ll be lucky enough and have a girl the next time.” When asked if she will go for a sixth child, she answered, “Well, I’m not Angelina. I don’t know. I mean, come on.”
Here in the US, where Steven Colbert will not be getting an invite to the wedding, he’s taken to parodying Sir Richard Branson on the cover of Project Magazine (Branson’s own rag). Too funny. Impersonating a billionaire? Worser things have been done before. Perhaps Colbert intends to make bank this year. Good for him!
