PURE WATER ROYALTIES FOR ALL CHILDREN OF THE WORLD

True fact: The Maori word for spirit is wairua. It means “two waters.” Water distribution is a spiritually humane act, because it takes anyone with spirit to ensure that people who need it, can have life each hour of the day. Our spirits need to act with goodness so water can happen for 1 billion people. Most of these people are in India and Africa. I wonder if China can help as water has so much significance as a metaphor for spirit in China. When I China is already helping share water.

Exciting News: For only $10 invested at Charity Water, one person in the world can have fresh clean drinking water, for a lifetime – when currently 1 billion people don’t have access to it yet. Isn’t that cool information?

It’s the end of the year in Hollywood. Normally I do the list of The 50 People Who Were Voted Most Hottest in Hollywood, as a really good compare and contrast democratic exercise in who is actually hot –vs, other media outlets lists. It can be quite surprisingly the results. On this website, votes are voted daily. The results always provide a study. For example Lady Gaga was no.1 last year, before she’d even appeared on Oprah’s Show.

This year though I thought instead of glorifying Hollywood’s Top 50 list, a priority first, was to link the list of stars, celebrities, hot Hollywood topics in this blogs category list with the topic of H2O. Sometimes we forget that the difference between a ‘star’ and an unknown third world person – is simply basics of humanity or human rights too, like clean drinking water being one–and equal access to it. So, before that list happens, let’s work the existing list already created of people and stars on this blog, who all can do something to help other peeps have life that flows daily with decent water.

Let’s do it as a Christmas gift to the world. Each star who gets any press going up online, have these news items emailed to them daily in the form of google alerts emails. So, in doing this exercise, this is my challenge as a Maori-Kiwi blogger to each one of US as I like US together as a global community connected to all people in the world, to give the gift of water this Christmas to someone else in celebration of life. Celebrity is about water. A celebrity is “anyone who deserves to be celebrated.” In giving water to someone else–we celebrate life, and we act like true celebrities of the world.

Merry Christmas and if you feel inclined, make a difference. is our water distribution agency today. It’s a trust that is action certified that Nicole Richie all year round. Richie also does work too for water distribution via UNICEF as well. I think that’s pretty gnarly good. Let’s do it and make a difference. Cheers and thanks for reading this blog all year round. May festive greetings flow to others too through US. Much love.

Until every person has clean drinking water –no one in the world has true power. Who are we fooling? There will never be peace in the world, if people are fighting over clean water each day. As a power balance exercise that makes us civilized nations look less fake in the eyes of the world, let’s have some fun and make it happen. :)

BARBARA STREISAND AND LEADING DEMOCRATS ON OBAMA SIGNING TAX CUTS BILL

“Well, I think it’s unfair but necessary,” Barbara Sreisand said when asked by Larry King about President Obama signing the tax cut deal (a la mode) as per, a Bush President of the past.

Some on the Hollywood left, said “that’s it. I’m through.” People worry that Obama’s devout entertainment supporters will keep their wallets closed as clearly the President is surrounded by sharks. Others say, give the political scene time and Obama will be able to lead as he’s promised his supporters. Patience is urged.

Streisand to King spent her TV time persuading in a supportive vein of the relatively new President, chatting from history’s notebook pages, reminding King’s audience how both George W. Bush and Ronald Reagan showed that “people admire real strength, even though it is misguided.” Forever a believer, Streisand seemed to applaud Obama’s “open heart” and intelligence, rightly noting why more people had not recognized this man’s tremendous accomplishments to date. Her support for him remains strong.

Mike Medavoy seems done unless Republicans back off. A big financial supporter of Obama, Medovy says: “Nobody wants to be held hostage, and no country should have to pay for hostage takers. While I believe in compromise, I don’t believe in compromise with people who put a gun to your head.”

A good point because seeing Obama with so little movement in the House post midterms doesn’t make for good TV either. I mean, this is not a Western, in reverse. Isn’t the leading man supposed to call the shots. Even in the most loved Westerns of old in Texas, yep, by Hollywood accounts of Western genres ‘rules’ of Texan culture, he is.

ART CAN BE GOOD BARBARA STREISAND POP ART

Not bad. Barbara Streisand is a bit of a local legend in L.A gift stores. This artwork of Babs was snapped tonight in Hollywood. The large painting is on sale at 40% off. That’s just wrong! Look how cute Streisand is in this pic. What a bargain.

For a second, I thought it was Jennifer Aniston. How could I mistake a good Jewish nose, for a good Greek one, like that! Both Helen Guzwell of New Zealand and Emma Norgate (a Jewess) from primary school at Onerahi, would have mollywhooped me upside the head, right proper for that faux pas.

I better go back for a return visit to the Beth Jacob Congregation the most friendliest and warmest and embracing synagogue in southern-most, East Beverly Hills, to brush up on my Jewish-friendly orientation etiquette, asap–because stuffing up on one’s American pop art, like that–is a sin in this fine patriotic and diverse country.

I repeat, a sin! :)

Needless to say, that when some citizens of West Hollywood are worried about their equal slice of wedding cake in these fickle times, that clearly Rhino moving trucks are not. They’re booming if centre-piece paintings like this are going up on sale. Just saying!

THE LAW OF FASHION BY BARBARA STREISAND

BarbaraStreisandA wise lady  in Beverly Hills told me yesterday that fashion should follow the trends of what people want. There are very few hour glass figures these days, and women in particular have always wanted comfort over restriction. I loved her words. They listen to the needs of the masses.

Today, Wednesday, October 7th 2009, Barbara Streisand echos these words, confirming that comfort is everything to a fashionable choice. Here’s what she said:

“I always wear the same thing at home. I cant be bothered with jewelry. My pants have elastic waists. I like to be comfortable. There are so many more important things to worry about.”–Barbara Streisand, Parade Magazine.

If fashion designers dialogue with the bodies of the people they seek to dress, won’t they be successful in fashion sales? Yes, couture for the woman who wants comfort and style, is the path forward for fashion as Barbara Streisand shows today.
