Gary Coleman, the actor who made America laugh as a kid in Diff’rent Strokes has passed away. TMZ is reporting Coleman passed away in a coma after he fell and hit his head. He died of a brain hemorrhage. Sad. Now Gary’s saying ‘Watchu talkin about God?’ And God is like, ‘Dude, wanna be a giant now?‘
He was one of the best child actors in show biz in his day. It’s unbelievable he died so young. Coleman had a huge impact on Maori, Pacific Island, Australian and Kiwi youngsters growing up. He was da man. RIP. Aged 44.

As I’ve always beleived, that only the hottest housewives of entertainment ever make it on Joy Magazine here’s a guest post from Melissa Noble of Cover Awards on that topic. Laugh out loud headlines, if you could read Slovenian. Take it away Melissa:
“In anticipation of that little under-the-radar flick nobody seems to be talking about (heh), the lady magazines have gone absolutely berserk with the Sarah Jessica Parker/Sex and the City 2 covers.
Many are hit and miss. Plenty are Photoshop-heavy experiments that don’t do SJP any facial favors (to say the very least). But this cover from the Slovenian publication Joy actually flatters her sharp features. She’s a little fuzzy — but at least looks pretty.”

Lindsay Lohan in this poster is proof of a young lady trapped in the fame game. Linda Lovelace fueled many men’s fantasies. The casting, ensconces Lohan as a modern Marilyn Monroe caricature of Hollywood. In trouble, but with no one to turn to.
Nobody really cares. They just want her to turn out a show. I care. Lindsay is a symbol, like Marilyn once was of the system. What can we do, to change it? She’s famous (12th highest google ranking last year for a female celeb of America on google), broke (not generating enough income to survive). She could be Greece. She could be Italy. She could be Ireland. She could be Portugal. She could be Spain–people who are in debt.
I have a heart for Lindsay, because if we are honest–she could also be America–if we are not careful. Because truth always lies beneath a blurred surface, perhaps she is America too, hence our fascination with this kid.
May Peace reign one day, in this young lady’s life. Come on Ms Lohan, pull your shoe laces together. Bl**dy hell!

Hollywood celebrity and entertainment bloggers were once known as parasites of mainstream media outlets. Not any more. HBO (who deliver True Blood) has been developing Tilda –the TV series. The series is based on the amazing Nikki Finke whose catch phrase is Toldja! (Tilda) on her blog, Deadline Hollywood.
Gay director, Bill Condon (Dreamgirls, Twilight Eclipse Breaking Dawn 1 & 2) has been developing the series with Cynthia Mort (Tell Me You Love Me).
The big news today is that after two years negotiating, Diane Keaton will play the lead with Ellen Page (Juno). Keaton plays Tilda, a feared Hollywood blogger, who meets Carolyn, “a morally conflicted creative assistant caught between following the corporate culture of the studio she works for and following Tilda, who has taken a keen interest in her.”
As Hollywood is not morally conflicted enough, this is going to be interesting how they sustain the plotline–then again, with secondary characters (real ones and fictitious celebrities) being the focus of a blogger, every second of a bloggers working day–that won’t be difficult to do at all. It will be a very exciting show if HBO capture the day in the life of a blogger–how it really is. Nuts! :)

As I blog in an internet cafe, this dude is skyping while reading a poem to his girlfriend in Arabic. Such a pretty language. The poem is delivered with melodic laughter and plenty of eyebrow action for effect–it must be a little bit naughty poetry. How romantic. Good for them! :)
Middle Eastern representation is perhaps something we should see more often in Hollywood. While having lunch yesterday, I was told by someone special, “you do realize, that there really is no such thing as enemies don’t you?” I had to agree.
When thinking about it, having had ‘enemies’ and without even trying, while managing to create new ones constantly too with sharing a point-of-view–what I so ‘despise’ about them, is often a projection of what’s in me. It has nothing to do with them per se. Or very little.
There are good and bad people in the world of all origins, and the Middle East is an area that Hollywood casting needs to develop with Hollywood talent a lot more fairly. Thankfully, the LA Times does a great feature today about flashbacks of movies of the few times Persia or the Middle East did shine through in Hollywood history. They point out, casting was always the unfair issue of this filmic history. Go here for that story. Cheers mates.
As Romeo of the Middle East talks to Juliet abroad it reminds me of how love knows no borders, boundaries or divides or distance too. Love is a language of the heart. I wish I knew how to read and understand both Hebrew and Arabic. Sadly I don’t. Perhaps if I’d grown up as a kid and been exposed to films in Hebrew and Arabic, I would know a little more of the deeper meanings found in both cultures beauty and diversity too. Those who know either or both, are very lucky people in furthering the potential of World Peace in the world. Yet, we are all the future of Peace in the world.
Hollywood entertainment news and celebrity topics of interest for Wednesday 26th May 2010 as voted by you were:

This cafe conversation an hour or so later is also worth sharing. A group of friends catching up over coffee.
Guy 1: Hey kids, I just wanted to say hello.
Guy 2: Hey. What are you up to?
Guy 1: Oh I’ve just done the stairmaster, and my abs are dripping wet. What school did you say you teach at again?
Guy 2: Crenshaw.
Guy 1: How’s that going?
Guy 2: A lot of the kids turn up to the classes on drugs. It’s getting tougher to teach each year. And we’re on furlough tomorrow. Kids and us, don’t have a choice. Budget cuts.
(Silence)
Guy 3: I’m trying to get this Arab guy on grindr.
Guy 1: You like terrorists?
Guy 3 laughs and nods.
FADE TO BLACK
As this was said in jest ala SNL kind of TV humor amongst blokes–I’m sure, no harm was intended by the lame attempt at a ’joke.’ But it showed how much we could all do with more cross-cultural teaching from the Mideast. So here’s a link to a link to a Mideastern love story of when an Arab falls passionately for a Jew. A good story! A lot more real, than Mr Fairchild’s starring role in above film from 1940.
Hollywood is evolving. Let’s read books that matter.

Is there anything Beyonce Knowles can’t do? Mother and daughter (Tina Knowles and daughters) fashion teams are something else when they set their mind to rounding up the new money. ” A diva is …”Woah!
Watch B’s newest House of Dereon TVC here.
I like the way Beyonce gives Tom Cruise a shout out in her video storyline premise. Taking Mission Impossible as her theme, the Queen Bee navigates her way through a maze of radar light technology. She is black on black. The ending of the tale is that she gets the diamond. Is she a thief? Or reclaiming what is hers and was lost and is now being guarded?
You as the viewer must decide. A metaphor for reclaiming the good aspects of America perhaps in a major rebuilding effort the US is going through right now. Her bare feet are cute. She’s a dancer. A single diamond always provides a story of “something beautiful, something good” occurring under intense pressure, until revealed above the ground.
As Bee is doing Tom Cruise shout outs, here’s Tom et Katie Holmes at their latest movie event in the UK. (I’m giving “haka bro” a rest today). Haka bro is a symbol of my campaign for Tom Cruise to be a big hit at the box office again. People who gave so much to Hollywood history, should be remembered I reckon.

According to Star Magazine the wedding of the decade is in the planning stages. Crown Prince William Windsor and Kate Middleton are about to reignite hearts in the Commonwealth with an epic love story unfolding before the world’s eyes as they walk down the aisles.
Says Star:
‘In the June 7 issue — on sale today — we have eight pages of royal dish about William and Kate’s upcoming nuptials, including the A-list guests, the extravagant gown, where they’ll say “I do,” Kate’s surprise gift for William and more!
“William has always said he will be ready for marriage after his 28th birthday — that’s next month,” royal expert Nicholas Davies, author of William: King for the 21st Century, tells Star. “The timing is perfect for a wedding this year.”
Insiders estimate that as many as 3 billion awestruck viewers could tune in and the audience will not be disappointed by the ceremony with the couture gowns, lavish bouquets and priceless jewelry, including the 18-karat sapphire and diamond engagement ring William inherited from his late mother, Diana, which he plans to give to his bride-to-be.
And while Kate will certainly look to Diana and Prince Charles’ 1981 wedding when planning her own, she plans to put her own spin on the ceremony as a modern British bride.‘
When a young couple fall in love, is the world big enough to contain their great love for it and the Peace that can only be found in loving one other?

Entrepreneur mogul and hip hop star, 50 Cent, lost 50 pounds for his new movie Things Fall Apart. In it, Fiddy plays a football player whose dying of cancer.

According to IMDB via National Enquirer, Ryan O’Neal is now playing hide the sausage with Cheryl Tiegs. The new couple reportedly met up at Raquel Welch‘s book launch of Beyond The Cleavage last June.
That Raquel’s cleavage is still working its Hollywood magic. And if you’re a big Farrah Fawcett fan, like I am, and you’re a bit upset by this news. Don’t worry, statistics reveal that most men willremarry six months after their wive’s pass away. I am sure Farrah would have wanted Ryan to be happy in love. I watched her documentary. Amazing! And that’s the mature view, and I’m going with that.
Cheryl and Ryan together is actually a very sweet romantic story and when you’re an O’Neil, one must always think of the paralleling Cheryl Tiegs and Ryan O’Neal Hollywood stories, with a beautiful collision of the heart, occuring in later life. That would be a good film. A good film for Young Hollywood Casting–Dakota Fanning and Taylor Kitsch perhaps?

When we last caught up with the American adventures of Dale The Nati –she was a’sippin on a kona coffee after doing fantabulous and horitastic retail shopping with family and friends in Hawaii.
Well, Dale K sent this snap from her Hawaii trip (“last day today–boo!”). Aren’t Hawaiian skies –so pretty. And as Hawaii is so happy, crazy, obsessed for Jason Mraz‘s tropical friendly calypso, laid back version of white soul music–here’s a song like Avatar-blue music light, from Jace the Ace Mraz for beautiful Dale the Nati and her fun loving family–basking in the beauty of all things American in Lady Liberty’s tropical jewel Island State. A total star of American fun and happiness!
As you can see from the above pic (and-let me try and be Robert Louis STEVEnson Jr. of The Southern Hemisphere literay traveloguing tradition, but with a Stephenie Meyer Breaking Dawn reverse-back twist action on Te Ata [the dawn].
“A-hem” –clears throat: “As the sun bowed low from the heavens, to curl up for the night in his rippling bed of shimmering sea – Ra left the land drenched in the warm breath of Kaiulani‘s lingering kiss, embracing the pretty days and lingering with her people b’neath the star anais glitter of Asian-infused, balmy nights.”–words shared from Horiwood, a novel/ tale.
“A-hem”, Now, back to Maori “prose“–Go Maoris in the USA! ‘Chaa girl. You too trick and always so, so flash with te kamera! A sweet view, thank you.’ :)
And because Dale has always been such a sensible soul, she gets the last word in this post. Says Dale: “[Vacationing in Hawaii] you can get right into and finish a book in a day – although everyone always complains I bring too many books, whose books do they end up reading when they have none?” A-ha. That’s Dale. Always thinking ahead intelligently.

He sings, dances, acts. Writes Dale K –the wahine with the bionic brains from Hawaiiland, USA:
“Today we (Kobey, Darrin and I) spent most of the day baking in the sun – I know, pretty sad! Ma and Pa went sightseeing and shopping – imagine Ma dragging Pa along with Het – we’ve all been really surprised at how much shopping he’s done, considering he always moans at us for spending too much money on clothes etc. As usual, we parked ourselves under the trees outside of Tropics Bar. Every day at about 3.30pm, a band sets up – and tonight was an awesome Hawaiian group who covered Elvis, country and western, and local talent – awesome!”
