Tiger Woods can make a decision.
In less time than a year after settling his divorce, with Elin Nordegren, Tiger Woods and Elin are showing quick work in moving on with their lives.
Woods, 35, has been seen with a new girlfriend, Alyse Lahti Johnston, a 22-year-old aspiring golf pro originally from Cleveland, Ohio.
Sports and entertainment blog TerezOwens.com broke the story a week ago noting that the pair have been dating for a few months.
“They went out on his yacht with another couple the other night and Tiger seems to be smitten over her,” the blog post said.

GOLFING NEWS: This vintage Axel Rose tee shirt of Eddie Murphy making an “O-kay sign,” reminds me a little of Tiger Woods son’s name. So at a very creative stretch today, I’m posting this under Hollywood Golf news.
Well worth a share today, in remembering Hollywood pop culture, printed on grey cotton.
When I saw it, this piece of Hollywood entertainment culture was going round and round on one of those train track things at the Suru clothing store, like how you choose your sushi by the dish in High Street, Auckland City biz and fashion district, that’s swiftly washed down with Asahi beer of Japan, during quick lunches.
Here’s a beer brand I’ve never tried before, Chang Beer. Chang’s iconography features double elephants (Indian or African, who knows), as spotted in West Hollywood competing fiercely for the restaurant market, right opposite the O-Bar restaurant.
In posting these two images, I make a mental note to be more diverse and give other culture’s produce a try. Who knows? Chang beer might be good.

Balvenie Enterprises has a distillary in Dufftown, it is ‘unlike all other single malt Scotch whiskies, thanks to a unique combination of human craft and natural alchemy. Neither our craft nor nature’s mysteries have changed in over a century.’
Incidently, when you type in “portwood” as a random word on google, the second image that comes up after ‘single malt port’ is this tomb stone pic of some dude named William D. Portwood of Nashville Tennessee, allegedly a military lad who died 1940. Either side of ‘Williams’ names on the cemetary’s website are people who allegedly died in the 19th Century of America. One of them has a name “poteet” – as if anyone was really called that. It would be petite. Not poteet as this would just sound like a “Strawberry Fields Forever Fair festival via Texas on wedding invites of smug families of the world, who happen to be named Bush not Kate Bush but forrest bush (English for Woods)” when it is not. That’s as stupid as tweeting the “pot” word (OR SALVIA) as an American expression that the democratic process has evolved via twitter in Scottish gaelic.

True fact: The Maori word for spirit is wairua. It means “two waters.” Water distribution is a spiritually humane act, because it takes anyone with spirit to ensure that people who need it, can have life each hour of the day. Our spirits need to act with goodness so water can happen for 1 billion people. Most of these people are in India and Africa. I wonder if China can help as water has so much significance as a metaphor for spirit in China. When I China is already helping share water.
Exciting News: For only $10 invested at Charity Water, one person in the world can have fresh clean drinking water, for a lifetime – when currently 1 billion people don’t have access to it yet. Isn’t that cool information?
It’s the end of the year in Hollywood. Normally I do the list of The 50 People Who Were Voted Most Hottest in Hollywood, as a really good compare and contrast democratic exercise in who is actually hot –vs, other media outlets lists. It can be quite surprisingly the results. On this website, votes are voted daily. The results always provide a study. For example Lady Gaga was no.1 last year, before she’d even appeared on Oprah’s Show.
This year though I thought instead of glorifying Hollywood’s Top 50 list, a priority first, was to link the list of stars, celebrities, hot Hollywood topics in this blogs category list with the topic of H2O. Sometimes we forget that the difference between a ‘star’ and an unknown third world person – is simply basics of humanity or human rights too, like clean drinking water being one–and equal access to it. So, before that list happens, let’s work the existing list already created of people and stars on this blog, who all can do something to help other peeps have life that flows daily with decent water.
Let’s do it as a Christmas gift to the world. Each star who gets any press going up online, have these news items emailed to them daily in the form of google alerts emails. So, in doing this exercise, this is my challenge as a Maori-Kiwi blogger to each one of US as I like US together as a global community connected to all people in the world, to give the gift of water this Christmas to someone else in celebration of life. Celebrity is about water. A celebrity is “anyone who deserves to be celebrated.” In giving water to someone else–we celebrate life, and we act like true celebrities of the world.
Merry Christmas and if you feel inclined, make a difference. is our water distribution agency today. It’s a trust that is action certified that Nicole Richie all year round. Richie also does work too for water distribution via UNICEF as well. I think that’s pretty gnarly good. Let’s do it and make a difference. Cheers and thanks for reading this blog all year round. Of their choices, they select: Lady Gaga -quoting Jen Chaney at The Washington Post (why? she was last years news), An Obama citing Margaret Lyons pick at Entertainment Weekly (couldn’t hurt), Lindsay Lohan -quoting Bridget Daly atHollyscoop (stranger things have happened), Lt. Dan Choi relaying Maureen O’Connor at Gawker‘s pick this year (not a bad choice either).
Perhaps Tiger Woods, Kim Kardashian (single, childless and still on top at 30), Liu Xiaobo‘s wife, or Warren Buffet, The Gates & The Team at Giving Pledge.
If looking at my own blog–Jessica Simpson & Eric Johnson rate high this year. Or, why not Oprah and Larry King both wrapping shows this year like Barbara is–or for a laugh why not Oprah interviewing Barbara Walters as no. 10. That would be groovy. Eminem or other music artists–there’s not one announced yet. Or a soldier who recovered from war’s atrocities? Or a scientist perhaps. The actors of Harry Potter continue to fascinate too. They also could be a worthy choice.
Who can believe little Snooki has made Barbara Walter’s Ten Most Fascinating People show in just over a year of being in show biz? Go Snooki go!

The big news of the day in sports-related topics is that Tiger Woods and Elen Nordegren‘s divorce is now finalized. This allows both people, to begin a new start in parenting their children, while both being fair to each other’s romantic futures. In a very civilized statement via People Magazine, Tiger and Elen said this:
“We are sad that our marriage is over and we wish each other the very best for the future,” they said in a statement released by Nordegren’s Virginia-based law firm of McGuireWoods. “While we are no longer married, we are the parents of two wonderful children and their happiness has been, and will always be, of paramount importance to both of us.”
The statement adds: “Once we came to the decision that our marriage was at an end, the primary focus of our amicable discussions has been to ensure their future well-being. The weeks and months ahead will not be easy for them as we adjust to a new family situation, which is why our privacy must be a principal concern.”
All the best for each person in this family’s better-futures.

In exchange for her silence, Tiger Woods has reportedly shelled out $750 million to his wife Elin Nordegren, for their divorce settlement.
Although anything to do with Tiger, is really none of our business, literally, it has to be said that if both Nordegrin and Woods’ hearts are in the right place for the future of their children from this moment onwards, then it shouldn’t really matter which parent has what money.

Not really. But according to Chicago Sun-Times (via NYDN) via MK, Nordergin is divorcing Tiger Woods.
Sad news, all round. The CST claims Elin wants $750 million, full custody of their two beautiful children, and liberty to share about her marriage with America’s star golfer, if she wants to (she’s not signing a confidentiality agreement).
Divorce is never an easy matter–and let’s hope this family do what’s best for their kids with both Tiger and Elin finding love and happiness again as people, in their own rights too.
But a new Maori husband is not a bad idea for Elin, if she’s not reconciling with Mr Woods. For example, what that Maori guy who sells honey into China, George Bradfield, did in the romance department for song bird/ songwriter Hinewehi Mohi --(featured in video below)is the romantic stuff love legends of Avatarial proportions are spun from.
Like Elin, Hinewehi was once a single parent too, needing a supportive husband to revive her, when the couple met. Hinewehi was ironicly on a blind date with George’s 20 year-old son–She was starring as the slightly p*ssed-off-with-men, jilted cougar–when she met her date’s dad, George. It was love at first sight.
If these reports are true of a definite divorce occurring, at least Elin can afford the best grief/ divorce counseller’s in the biz now… Poor Elin. And poor Tiger Woods… literally, this time.

Alright. Some sad news today. Mel Gibson has announced, he’s ending his relationship with singer Oksana Grigorieva and CNN’s and Canter’s Deli local institution, Larry King has announced he’s divorcing Shawn Southwick.
Let’s look at the upside of this heartbreaking news, as these A-List celebrities can take action and end a relationship/ marriage with a press release, instead of being ‘silent’ and grandstanding on an alleged shockingly bad marriage like America’s sweetheart Sandra Bullock is currently doing by her ‘silence’ and ‘invisibility’ on the topic. To play the victim card and then go into hiding after winning an Oscar in tough Hollywood, is rather lame.
Sorry Sandy B fans, we love her–but her limelight hogging on the Jesse James porn puppet, swastika-wearing show, is getting so ridiculous, Sandra’s celebrity peers are taking action to show her some Hollywood manners and courtesies. Sharing a spotlight for good purposes, is always the best way forward for America.
And you have to remember that let’s play “hide the wife” is the favorite celebrity game of men grandstanding for fame’s purposes in America at the minute (Tiger and Jesse’s favorite game) to lock the big celebrity game up. Just sayin.
And in case Jesse and Tiger think they’re so clever in their little haram games. This game is so old. Abraham, the founding father of both the Jewish and Arab people of the world, played this game over 5000 years ago. Let’s move the ball along as Mel Gibson and Larry King both send out a message today. Hope their girls are okay. :)

You know, if Angelina Jolie was a fragrance merchant she’d be a billionaire. Instead, she loves being a working mother and a mother of the destitute and the forgotten of the world. Variety is reporting that Tiger Woods is great for golf viewership for CBS.
“CBS has birdied the Masters. According to Nielsen, Sunday coverage of golf’s pre-eminent event drew a 12.0 overnight household rating/25 share, a nine-year high and up 36% from last year’s final round when Angel Cabrera won the tournament. Total viewers numbers won’t be available until Tuesday.
The Masters’ highest-rated Sunday coverage in the overnights was a 15.8/32, set in 1997 when Tiger Woods won his first Green Jacket. That year ended up averaging 20.2 million viewers in the nationals.”
The Los Angeles Times reports that Tiger still remains golf’s top drawer. This report says: “CBS had an average of 21.3 million viewers during its final 30 minutes of Masters coverage Sunday, up 29% from a year ago according to CBS and Nielsen Media Research. In comparison, the Olympic hockey gold medal game between the USA and Canada had 27.6 million viewers on NBC.
The tournament, won emotionally by Phil Mickelson, whose embrace of his cancer-stricken wife Amy was the signature moment of the Masters, had expected to have a ratings bump since it was the return of Tiger Woods to competitive golf for the first time since Woods dropped out of sight after a car accident last November led to a series of revelations about his marriage infidelities.”

You’ve got to respect an Octogenarian who still has their marbles still working well all up in their suede. Hugh Hefner who has long worn the difficult crown of presenting to America its porn, is so onto Sandra Bullock, Jessie James and Tiger Woods shennanigans, that it made me chuckle today. Let’s face it, Americans love their porn. It’s an entrenched part of US culture and show biz.
According to Page Six Hugh Hefner says of Tiger Woods: “When you get married, you make a commitment. I had a lot of girlfriends, but it’s not the same as cheating. I don’t cheat. I am very open about what I do . . . Sandra Bullock’s husband looks like a real creep. I think that when you are in a relationship, you should be honest. The real immorality of infidelity is the lying.” <— That was so deep.
Hefner also spoke with Las Vegas columnist Norm who asked: Does he think golfer Tiger Woods can overcome his playboy transgressions? Says the Hef: “He can if he wants to. But this whole idea that it’s a sex addiction is a copout. Some people become obsessed with sex, but it’s not like an alcohol or drug addiction. He did it because he could get away with it.”
No. All three of them (Sandra, Jesse and Tiger) all did it because they are positioning themselves to be the new Hugh Hefner with their porn puppet show, when the Hef dies.
At least Hefner’s onto it, when it comes to big business and whose trying to get all up in his mix with pussy wagon publicity. Porn generates a lot of tax dollars for the American economy each year. And America’s in need of money makers to bail out the economy–Jesse James and Tiger Woods are the two contenders to be the next porn kings of America as this juncture of US biz history.
And although this whole story seems like pot kettle/ kettle pot publicity, you have to respect the fact that at 84, this man is not stupid. He is one of the few Americans who produce product that sells offshore more than he consumes. He builds the US economy with his Playboy Entertainment branding. Good comments from the Hef today.

“There are many teachers, but few fathers”–Paul The Apostle
The role of the father has long been under threat in America. This post pertains to a “father deficit” of sorts in American cultural life. It is being written to strengthen and uphold America’s cultural capital in this beautiful country I love. So, here we go. Here’s a little West Hollywood true story. Grandad horiwood finally got out of his slippers to head to the local internet cafe to grab a nice steaming cup of Earl Grey Tea–on special for grandaddy bloggers.
In the process of blogging in public and a shared public space–a single mother with two children walked into the cafe. The rugrats made a bee line for me (obviously, I was the oldest bloke in the room) and asked me very intelligent questions like “what are you doing?”–which is always an intelligent question to ask anyone, because in this economy–most people don’t actually know what they are doing to get through an economic rut, or why they are doing what they do, to get out of it. It’s very much a “do something and just hope for the best” economic climate here. So I liked this child’s intelligent question.
Because she was intelligent she commanded my attention from me and as these two children consumed my time for 15 minutes, their little eyes searched my soul in our game of playful childlike exchange where to make them laugh was my goal. All the while, their eyes were asking “Can you be our daddy?” Heartbreaking yet amusing too.
I put aside my need to laugh out loud (as I am the most irresponsible person, that I know of) and I pretended that I could be for a nano-second and gave them their “father” moment today that all children deserve and need each day as a part of their basic human rights in order to grow as whole American little people.

American summer 2010 looks like this. Bikinis for the sun and Guidos for American beach fun. Here’s the pics from Bar Refaeli‘s and Mike “The Situation”‘s photoshoot with Terry Richardson for the much coveted A-List actors terrain of Interview Magazine.
These crazy kids are bringin it! It’s all about muscle, abs, beef, braun, laughter and waxing and eyebrows. Love their sense of humor. Like pizza with extra cheese to entertain. Too funny!
Pop Cultural Commentary: The phenomenon of the Jersey Shore lads rise to fame as reality TV stars to becoming Party Boys Central for the kids of America to feel privileged at events when they turn up at festivals and clubs… mirrors the rise of Italian-American break out pop star, Lady Gaga.
American culture and how it is created and generated is all about reflecting back different expressions of America’s celebrity monarchy via pop culture (think Beyonce and her African-American supporters and minions in music–Bee has a lot! A whole army who work for her, and feed up their best creativity to her and Jay-Z).
As long as Lady Gaga is famous, these Jersey Shore lads will always have a platform in US culture. Love them! They are the cheesy and “italian stallion” male expression of her pop diva-dom reign in America. They deconstruct the cartoon and stereotype of Italian American men, by knowingly rocking out with it. This appears to be addictive to American women mainly, as pizza is comfort food–and the lads of Jersey Shore are much loved here.
Bar Refaeli is too Tarzan and Jane hot in these pics as she rocks these lads out for America. What a sport. She gives them some fashion credentials–that they never had until now to begin a career in fashion, health and fitness endorsements. Good for her!

Signs of The Times: While Tiger Woods makes his return to Professional Golf, the skies are alive with banners about bootyism. If Beyonce could pen a hit song called “Bootylicious” which has caused the word “bootylicious” to make the English dictionary, I guess Tiger Wood’s can put bootyism (the study of booty) into the English dictionary also.
Or so the peeps who flew these banners over the golf course today seem to think so anyway.
Bootyism?! What next. “Boo-tay-izm” is more how it’s said by the African-American community here in LA. And the sayings been around for a while. Golf’s just discovered it, obviously.
Tiger Woods is a self confessed Bhudist who practices bootyism–a play on words there if ever you saw one. :)

Marital Restoration is an important topic. Restoration in general as a topic has American people obsessed. How do you restore one’s sense of nationhood after loss? Tiger Woods shows us how, on the topic of his marriage and role as a father. Jesse James does the Shakespearean version of comic relief on the same theme.
Tiger Woods latest comments to media are: “A lot has happened in my life in the past five months,” but the hardest part was “having to look at myself in a light that I never wanted to look… The pain and the damage I caused my wife, my mom, my kids … Going forward, I am going to have to explain all [this to them] … but that’s my responsibility. I did it.. [Rehab] allowd me to take a look at myself … I’ve come out better. I am certainly a much better person for it… I hadn’t hit far enough on the bottom to make myself look at what I had done [until recently]… What I was thinking was not correct… I was rationalizing. I was in totally denial at times…. I fooled myself. I lied to myself, kept others in the dark…. When I stripped all that away and realized what I had done, the whole magnitude of it, that is pretty brutal. I take full responsibility…
He said he had to miss his son Charlie’s first birthday due to rehab. “That hurts. That hurts a lot… I can’t go back to where I was. I want to be a part of my son and daughter’s life. I missed his first birthday and [that's] something I regret and will probably regret the rest of my life… I need to be a better man … I am trying as hard as I can each and every day to get my life stronger. Along the way, I want to help more people who aren’t ready to help themselves, as I was… I have been meditating religiously. I need to do these things the way I used to do it, and unfortunately, I got away from that … and lost my life in the process.”I am not going to stop it in the near future, that’s for sure,” he said.

Jesse James latest statement via his lawyer Joe Yanny: “”When all is said and done, he wants the same people who were living in his house before all this happened to still be living there. And he wants to save his marriage with the woman he loves more than anything in his life… [James] is doing as well as he can be… He’s focusing on what he’s doing and trying to make himself better… The First Amendment was not meant to cover the sexual lives of people who are not in office,” says Yanny. “This is sheer voyeurism and bullying, pure and simple. It’s disgusting.”
To read a post on bullying and voyeurism clink on those two key words. I like what both lads say as pin up boys for America of restoration, screw ups who are now on their way to doing well. From a porn-affairs show and pin up boys of bad husbands …. to a show of restoration for marriage and family values. Two interesting characters, to dangle out in front of the world! The American media love them. Washington too.

Easter Weekend is when the tabloids up their game to resolve bad boys and girls of their sins by running scandals stories from past and present all together, to take the sting out of the current scandals and sort of wash them all away.
In an article this weekend, the website PopEater puts Jesse James, Tiger Woods, Hugh Grant, Woody Ellen , Paul Reubens under the spotlight, to highlight the fact, that when a star has a sexual indiscretion scandal, that they do make a comeback.
Tiger Woods is one lucky man. And again, what is Jesse James doing in this line up–he’s not an entertainer. But after his alleged scandals, maybe he is a bonafide entertainer now?! :)
One thing is certain, the PR machine is in overdrive to help restore Tiger Woods back to the golfing and sports-entertainment arena. Nobody is perfect, and that’s very sweet in a way.

Says the President today, offering best luck wishes to Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren:
“I think that Tiger has acknowledged that he betrayed his family, and that’s a personal issue that he’s got to work out,” Mr. Obama told FOX News. “I hope they’ve worked it out, and I’m sure he’s going to still be a terrific golfer.”
As predicted, Woods will be competing in the Masters Tournament this April, according to the pro golfer’s Web site.
It’s nice of the President to think about Tiger and Elin at this time. Really it’s up to Elin though. But as they’ve both made a joint decision to reconcile and try to work things out, that’s a pretty good endorsement of their marriage healing from America’s #1 man.

The world loves Rihanna. America too. Billboard say, that Princess Riri has overtaken Beyonce for the most #1 hits for a female artist, to chart in the top ten on their Top 100 countdown with her hit Rude Boy. Which is pretty odd when you think about it, as Beyonce set a record for winning the most grammys in one night ever, this year, taking out six gongs… when Riri’s virtually got nada grammys.
Oh well! Who needs grammys when the people vote your music at the top. That’s democracy in action. Either way, Jay-Z‘s music mentor, is sitting pretty, with both Riri and Beyonce either side of his success and reign as America’s music king and music starmaker.
Rihanna joins Ludacris with 14 top ten hits and Jay-Z has the most at 15. Congratulations honey.

Steve White, the much loved and televised New Zealander, who has been Tiger Woods’ cadie for 11 years, said to 60 Minutes (NZ) he would have “blown the whistle” if he had known about the player’s behavior.
“If the shoe was on someone else, I would say the same thing. It would be very difficult as a caddie not to know but I’m 100 percent telling you, I did not know, and that’s that,” he said. “I’m a straight-up sort of person. If I had known something was going on, the whistle would have been blown.”

VINTAGE EDDIE MURPHY TEE SHIRT AND CHANG BEER ART, WEST HOLLYWOOD – 1.24.11
GOLFING NEWS: This vintage Axel Rose tee shirt of Eddie Murphy making an “O-kay sign,” reminds me a little of Tiger Woods son’s name. So at a very creative stretch today, I’m posting this under Hollywood Golf news.
Well worth a share today, in remembering Hollywood pop culture, printed on grey cotton.
When I saw it, this piece of Hollywood entertainment culture was going round and round on one of those train track things at the Suru clothing store, like how you choose your sushi by the dish in High Street, Auckland City biz and fashion district, that’s swiftly washed down with Asahi beer of Japan, during quick lunches.
Here’s a beer brand I’ve never tried before, Chang Beer. Chang’s iconography features double elephants (Indian or African, who knows), as spotted in West Hollywood competing fiercely for the restaurant market, right opposite the O-Bar restaurant.
In posting these two images, I make a mental note to be more diverse and give other culture’s produce a try. Who knows? Chang beer might be good.
