In hindsight, if we look back on the years that Robert Thomas Pattinson became a big star of the Twilight Saga and Hollywood, we have to admit they were years of financial vampiring in the age of a global economic crises. They were also years of the oil and energy vampiring phenomena, in the fossil fuels resources markets.
Pattinson in a sense, was a guinea pig fore-runner for the reimergence of Prince William‘s UK cross-over appeal into the US and worldwide markets. Many global figures send their guinea pigs out first to test the ground, it’s just part of the art of growing celebrities like a finely tuned science these days.
Pattinson, as the world’s most famous twilight vampire of his generation has a proven star template, that U.K stars can be proud of. Growing a blog within Hollywood had it’s many daily challenges when I lived in the US. However, Pattinson was a sure fire winner to always grow a blog. Any story or quote from this lad, would often take the no.1 spot in daily blog ratings interests. He’s a bonafide superstar.
In this article via HGE, to the Star Times’ Cindy Pearlman during an interview at Santa Monica, Pattinson shares his thoughts of hanging up his vampire contacts and heading into more diverse Hollywood movie roles as an actor, whose growing in his art and acting roles.
On observing fame and his peers balancing act to stay sane: “I think the people who lose their minds are the ones who’ve been fighting to attain fame for years and years. If and when they suddenly achieve it, they’re like, ‘yeah, I deserve everything I’ve got.’ For me I literally took a step in one direction, not knowing what I was doing at all. It just happened. So I can’t really claim anything.”
On humility in choosing movie roles: “Becoming ‘in demand’ quickly affords you the opportunities to work with people who are far more experienced than you. I think you need to take those opportunities and not always try to shoulder the entire burden of a movie. In order to do that, you need to be mindful not to let your ego get ahead of you.”
On completing his role in the Twilight Saga: “I’ll be very glad not to put those contacts in anymore or have to put on the sparkling makeup, but I will really miss the character. I do love the guy. I feel like I know him pretty well know.”
Upcoming Work: Pattinson stars in Water for Elephants currently screening. He is currently on a hiatus and then will embark on new film project Cosmopolis in the adaptation of Don DeLillo‘s book. His character is a millionaire of Manhatten.
As a move on Hollywood’s chess board, Cosmopolis gives Pattinson a good vehicle to comment on Wall Street Culture’s influence in our times.
Michele Manelis also interviewed Pattinson obtaining these quotes. Her reporting can be viewed here.

RIA’S ALL MY LADIES FOR BABY MOMMAS GETTING THEIR DIPLOMAS – CHRISTINA KOUTSIMANIS SHINES
Yes it is true. I’m a big fan of RIA‘s song, All My Ladies. She’s a new hip hop music songwriting talent, who knows how to rock Auckland The Supercity out with cleverly written new tunes!
RIA’s lyrics are empowering for hard working girls across the world, many of whom are hard working baby momma’s like Christina Koutsimanis (actor) whose also a hardworking Kiwi-Samoan-Greek momma in Auckland City.
Koutsimanis is the main dramatic talent featured in Ria’s music video above. And also here on this blog too, occasionally.
Lyrics to RIA’s new power hit, down here in New Zealand follow, once I learn them and upload them:
