Alright, it’s the end of the year, so for a bit about who does what, here’s a post about Cubano who creatie genuine and hospitable Hollywood culture each week. is a Cubano owned entertainment company right here in Cali. They do a lot to keep Hollywood going all year round. They also do the elite events in Las Vegas also. For example Hermantown are bringing Rihanna to Nevada for American kids this NYE at Pure Nightclub. This is the hot ticket for NYE in the US this year. Coldplay & Jay-Z in Vegas sounds pretty good too.
Hermantown’s events are always good at places like Drai’s on the rooftop of The W, for example. Events they do are always marked by the genuine attribute of sweetness of true Cubano people in Hollywood.
Let’s let the pix do the talking. Cubano-Americans living and owning businesses in Hollywood entertainment are very warm spirited and hospitable. I think they rock in Hollywood.
Perhaps to confirm this, America’s no.1 woman more popular in the US than Oprah this year, Kim Kardashian has recently just enlisted Hermantown to help her promote and market her merch line across Los Angeles and the US with L.A lawyer Robert Shapiro. Kim likes these guys and girls warmth and professionalism.
If in Nevada, make sure to check out Ms. Riri tonight. Should be a good NYE this year!

Hollywood always brings a laugh. Here’s these pictures of blogger Mario Lavandeira at the wailing wall in Jerusalem Israel. He’s got his sweet Cubano-American momma snapping the pics, again.
Mario writes: “So special – for Judaism, Christianity AND Islam! The energy is so strong in Jerusalem. We could literally feel it and it brought us to tears at the Western Wall, the most holy place in all of Judaism. We believe in believing. We believe in energy. We believe in love. We believe in tradition, and – yes – we put a little piece of paper with some big thoughts on them in that Wall. Prayers/dreams/wishes/desires/needs. We hope they come true!”
Why doesn’t Mario put his newly-launched porn site, unratedperez.com into that wailing wall as well too then? Lol!
Not a bad thought as a new year’s resolution perhaps. But maybe Mario as the new Hugh Hefner of 2050 is something to hold your breath for in between all of this gooey pan-religious bunch of bull sh*t today. As if you can really light a Chanukah candle, then bow down to Allah facing Mecca, while making the sign of the cross all at once too. I mean… Budha might feel left out. Exactly! You just can’t do it all.
It’s just all a little bit wishful thinking for a porn site owner spinner to be spinning this tri-religious try hard stuff. It’s like dude, choose one – spirit sharing or the porn peddling? Maybe that was a bit harsh?
No judgement (as sheepers aren’t I blacker than an All Black’s rugby football practice jersey from 1911, if talking online kettles?), but just keeping the ‘game’ a little bit real here.
Oh wait, the spiritual website of other people‘s spiritual epiphanies and quotes is on its way too most probably from Mario, to read after you look at Mario’s porn website. I get it now. I guess that’s what’s going on here behind these pics.
Hollywood moguls!!! Quite sharky really. :)
Hollywood jibes aside its good that Mario took a visit to Jerusalem and also demonstrated that he can think spiritual for ten minutes. Gotta affirm that really. Mario, keep journeying on a spiritual path. The deeper the better.

For being a pint sized wee thing from New Jersey, there’s no flies on Snooki of the Jersey Shore reality TV show. According to The Examiner Snooki can add jewelry designer, to her rising star mix. Snooki’s just tweeted ”Finally launching my jewelry line tonight at midnight! Get my first piece “Snooki Party Ball” for NYE 2011.
Go kid! Way to drop a line of new product. Go New Jersey in the American house.

Christina Koutsimanis looks like she had a good NYE’s last night (Thursday) in New Zealand. I wonder if Christina won the fishing kit?
Anyway not to be outdone, here’s Chuck Norris, with a big fat fish story to go with that sign in this pub pic then about being totally illegal and transcending Communism, of course! in The Czech Republic with um.. telephones. Lol!
THAT STORY: ‘During communism, smuggled video tapes of Norris’ action films would find their way into Czech VCRs, and once the Iron Curtain fell, one of the first shows the Czech people got to see on newly freed airwaves was his hit Walker, Texas Ranger. Now, he’s hawking cell phones, and proving a hit once again. The ads are popular on TV and have been viewed over 4.5 million times on YouTube. With a population of 10 million, that’s an incredible percentage. Add to that by watching some of the ads below. And don’t worry about the language barrier; you’ll find Norris pretty easy to understand. For much more from the story, click over to The Wall Street Journal.’
BUT WAIT. THERE’S MORE: Click on Chuck’s wet fish to watch his carpy diem TVC. Actually it’s the most boring TVC ever! Unlike fishing trips from eons ago, involving a lot of screaming and um… canoes. Happy NYE Christina and Ava!!!

Cee Lo wants to collaborate with Gwyneth Paltrow on a song in the near future. What a great idea.
Their names rhyme even. Musical poetry before a note is even laid down in studio and co-warbled.
Gwynnie does sound comfortable singing Cee Lo’s hits on Glee, so why not?!
I’m still reeling (not really!) over the fact Washington Post voted Cee Lo’s F*ck You song, no.1 song of 2010! That’s a riot in the Capitol.

Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, the twin bros, who aren’t happy with the $65 million they won in Federal Court, after they claimed Mark Zuckerberg seriously borrowed the ‘Facebook idea’ off them back at Harvard are still hopping mad. So much so, that they’re going back to court for some more of Facebook’s honey put onto their pacifiers, in settlement, to shut them up.
When you think about it, Facebook is such a good idea connecting people together, it probably did take connected twin minds to come up with it.
Do you think the Winklevoss lads are being a bit greedy, or is it just chump change to Mark Zuckerberg and his friends who have already joined The Giving Pledge and are allegedly getting set to ‘give’ most of their wealth away to charity, so they grow up as billionaire moguls balanced and okay, the Warren Buffet way?
Either way, villains in any nation (if you’re creating an American ‘narrative’ of culture, make a culture more exciting) is the (I believe) misguided belief. So these lads make The Facebook Nation (of 600 million online users) a little bit more united in their Facebook community-ness, looking to Zuckerberg as a Pseudo-President to sort these lads out in court and ‘protect’ their ‘facebook citizenship’ statuses and privileges. It’s all a bit like jumping into a video game isn’t it, but it’s real and useful, sometimes.
These twins are probably getting paid $1 million each for an appearance – with a settlement out of court this round. Lol!
When you think about it, creating new things makes a culture more exciting –not getting spooked by villains, per se as ‘the next gimmick or thrilling thing.’
However, for all intents and purposes, this news report that the twins are suing again, is for real. Oh the drama of the Harvard grad set. With a daily audience of .6 billion Facebook is its own reality show everyday. I guess you need reverse-villains then. All a part of the social media show.
According to Gawker, the lads say it’s not about the money, it’s about “the principle.” Too funny.
Um, hello, we’re in Capitalist Capitol of the World?

The most searched for person on Horiwood.Com at the close of this rather interesting year, to say the least, is none other than a little person – Shiloh Jolie-Pitt.
Her name means “The Peaceful One” in Hebrew.
Since the day she was born she has been anything but peaceful, brandishing swords and military regalia for the paparazzi at every camera angle and turn. Lol! Shiloh has already appeared alongside her dad Brad Pitt, briefly in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Already this kid is on her way to her dream of acting.
Her debut pics to the world were sold for $10 million to People and Hello Magazines, with the monies donated to charity. She’s got a lot of love behind her already this one, in the world, as a global humanitarian with no say in the matter. Born in Namibia, she was transported to New Orleans and then on a trip to India with her mother immediately followed. Global citizens don’t get more modern than this kid, born and raised that way.

In cutting edge news on the nation’s capitol’s front page, the tone is a bit fluffier heading into NYE’s. The Washington Post has two eye catching stories. The first is a rather obvious, people do not like being felt up or scanned by TSA airport staff at American airports.
The next one is: how many calories should you really ingest on NYE this year?
Hot topics on The Post’s website are: China coal & ‘Rosie the Riveter’ dies. Energy + War – wow, the two favorite topics that fuel the world. RIP Rosie as a pin up icon of past war’s mobilization efforts.

According to E-Money E-Bay and Amazon’s top selling things online had little to do with Justin Bieber (that was a surprise).
E-Money reports: ‘The leading picks for eBay’s sales in 2010 were: The iPhone 4, Barbie, military jackets, Hot Wheels and the iPad.
EBay said that in the U.S. there were 1.63 million items sold related to the iPhone 4, and 631,399 iPad-related items sold.
Amazon said: ‘clearly the Kindle (the Wi-Fi model, to be exact) was numero uno, the top computer sold was the 13.3-inch MacBook Pro. The top-selling phone was AT&T’s Samsung Captivate (Android).
Amazon announced earlier this week that the third-generation Kindle is now the best-selling product in history, CEO Jeff Bezos insisted that the Kindle and iPad serve different niches, and therefore don’t compete. Maybe it helps when the Kindle is considered an electronic, and the iPad a computer).
Hoping to clip the sales ticket twice perhaps with the same punters? That one was a bit of a stretch. iPad all the way!

I don’t know why, but anyone with a name that’s Jewish or says Israel in their name, I am 200% for. Must be the Maori-Kiwi blood in me that relates to people who associate with generations and generations of tribal connections and tribal lore I think and who think wider than just nuclear family models of existing.
One rugby football player whose folks are Kiwi and obviously pro-Jewish is young Israel Dagg who plays for the New Zealand All Blacks rugby football team. I mean, not only can the dude play rugby football awesomely but he’s a skilled cricketer too. Dude! Stop the A-Listed sports bus already, get outta here! Says the teams official website of young Israel Dagg:
“Israel Dagg hit the rugby headlines in 2006 when the 18-year-old became the first secondary school player to be selected for Hawke’s Bay since his teammate, former All Blacks halfback Danny Lee, first played for the province in 1994.
The Lindisfarne College old boy is an outstanding athlete, described in the 2006 New Zealand Rugby Almanack as a fullback with speed, skill and decision-making ability that belies his age. The respected publication also named him one of its five promising players for 2006.
Dagg has progressed through the Hawke’s Bay age grade ranks, representing the province at Under 16 and Under 19 level. He also attended the Sir Brian Lochore rugby camp for Under 17-year-olds in 2005.
An all-round sportsman, Dagg is a former Central Districts Under-17 cricket representative.”
If Israel stays in top form, you could get to see him here in the USA, when Universal/ Comcast broadcast Israel his team and global sporting peers in the Rugby World Cup 2011. He’s a good one!
