Olivia Wilde got cast in hit TV series show House MD where she has starred as Dr Hadley in 45 TV episodes with character actor, Hugh Laurie.
Hard work and beauty on the telly aside, it was her little playful ‘feud’ with Megan Fox that catapulted the actress to super stardom this year.
You voted Olivia Wilde your 55th biggest star in Hollywood this year. Congrats Miss Wilde. This week her popularity rating is 47% up on last week. That’s heat.
Wilde stars in Tron Legacy, with Garrett Hedland, Michael Sheen, Jeff Bridges and William Hurt which will be released in 2010.
The plotline goes like this: “Sam Flynn, the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn, looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant, father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.”
Like in any special effects drive film, it takes a babe like a Fox or a Wilde to be a film of this nature’s queen. Wilde is another Megan Fox of big blockbuster films. She’s a break out superstar of cinema in 2010 as you’ve already voted her in 2009. Go girl!
