This pic of Miley Cyrus doing an MJ crotch grab has caused a major backlash today in the US of A.
Beyonce can crotch grab in concert MJ-style all she likes and not have a bad word spoken against her?
Is the fact that Miley is only 16, mean that she can be a hate target and be castigated more than a 28 year-old pop star for doing the same thing? Yes, that looks like this is the case, between the two church-attending girls.
Cyrus is the #3 most googled American celebrity in America each month. Expect her to be crotch-grabbing a lot more in concert, to up her google searches ranking and closing the gap on Beyonce and Britney Spears lead, heading into year’s end.
LIL WAYNE’S HEAD IS IRELAND BALDWIN’S BIRTHDAY CAKE
The man with a sense of humor, Alec Baldwin of 30 Rock and Oscar winning actress, Kim Bassinger both gave a shout out to hip hop star, ‘Lil Wayne, when they gave their daughter Ireland this birthday cake for her 14th Birthday.
The licorice dreads over the sunglasses are the icing on a fun cake. Is Alec trying to say, he thinks Lil Wayne is a rude ‘lil pig too? Very funny, heading into Halloween.
Alec Baldwin didn’t want to give Ireland this Rick Astley cake…. because he perhaps still doesn’t agree with the cake’s message. 14 is always a difficult age raising kids. :)

Featured in Cosmopolitan Magazine, Rihanna is known and loved in the nation of Georgia– a country that had a very long struggle and uphill battle to gain their independence and freedom. (I love every one of these people already!!!)
The fact that Rihanna is known by this tiny nation as a cover worthy star means, that Rihanna is fast becoming like Michael Jackson, whose fame was farreaching, even to the remotest of countries in the world.

MISSING THE ALL BLACK “HAKA” TODAY IN HOLLYWOOD
There’s nothing like watching New Zealand’s top sportsman, get their ugly face on as they perform the Maori haka (war dance) before an international sports match.
The haka is so counter Hollywood health, ‘beauty’ and aesthetic glamour, it is actually quite inspiring. It’s all about an expression of strength from one’s inner man, not outer appearance. Warriors of sport, kinda thing.
Go to New Zealand or The Rugby World Cup tournament to see the New Zealand All Black Rugby Team perform the haka live, at least once in your life time. It’s one of life’s most entertaining moments you’ll ever witness.

All spin aside, young Taylor Lautner took Taylor Swift out on a date for steak in The City of Angels, LA, Wednesday. The movie couple from Valentine look cute together. Cougar-Wolf puppy love? Or is Taylor Swift planning on becoming an action star, like Angelina Jolie next? Lautner is one of Hollywood’s best action stars already. It is good to see chivalry is alive and well in ‘the youth of America today.’ Love it. :)

LADY GAGA COVERS FLARE MAGAZINE CANADA
Pop stars and pop artists have always fed from and fed into the world of fashion. From the pages of Flare Magazine, Canada’s December 2009 issue, here is what Stefani Germanotta has to say about the topic of fashion.
“Fashion saved my life. It was complete liberation… it made me feel powerful, ambitious and much more resilient…We all need an image that screams, ‘I’m an individual!’ I think Jennifer Aniston is beautiful — she’s gorgeous — but I prefer to look interesting rather than pretty.”
Pop star Lady Gaga has not yet learned that true fashion can be both a couture statement of individualism as well as being elegantly functional and pretty.
There are classic fashion lines that were created in fashion’s golden history, by many great artists who went before. Similarly, in pop music’s cannon there are classic lines written into the songs we most love.
When Lady Gaga combines the knowledge of the two worlds, then her dream to create The Haus of Gaga will become more of a reality. At the moment her musical band holds that title on her The Monster Ball tour. Learning from and respecting other great artists other than oneself is the bridge of humble revelation that Germanotta needs to transition into the world of fashion design.
In the meantime Lady Gaga is off to an exceptional start, can write a good song with classic pop hooks, lyrics, melodies, dramatic flare in her verse. Her performance talent is strong. She’s looking very Twiggy and Liza Minnelli from Cabaret for Flare in the way her eyes have been styled.
Gaga has also borrowed from Britney Spears pop costuming library, with her rendition of a pink wig. The message she’s putting out there, “I am the new Britney, or crazy bazaar girl of American pop entertainment.”

MATTHEW SHEPARD & JAMES BYRD JR. HATE CRIMES BILL IS SIGNED INTO PREVENTION ACT
President Obama signed major civil rights legislation on Wednesday, making it a federal hate crime to assault people based on sexual orientation, gender and gender identity. The new measure expands the scope of a 1968 law that applies to people attacked because of their race, religion or national origin. The U.S. Justice Department will have expanded authority to prosecute such crimes when local authorities don’t.
The provision, called the Matthew Shepard & James Byrd Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act is . It is named after Matthew Shepard, a gay college student tortured and killed in 1998, and James Byrd Jr., a black man who was chained to a pickup truck and dragged to his death the same year.

AMERICA’S FAVORITE ADDICTION IS FAME
A blogger exists to feed a supply and demand relationship of people who love keeping up with the lives of fame obsessed stars. Thankfully though, ex-tabloid editor, Jake Halpern, who was used to dealing with hundreds of crazy stars and their publicists clamoring for magazine column inches every week, quit his job, to write this book.
The Fame Junkies claims that America’s favorite addiction is fame. When you think about it, Jake is not too far from the truth. It goes hand in hand with being a ‘warring’ nation making a name for herself. The essence of winning war is an addiction to have more fame and territory in the world than you already have. America wears the war badge for the Western World’s interests. A downside of empire, is a love of fame.

Half the Sky touches on the subject of the oppression of women in Asia and Africa, and how those women can be helped to turn oppression into opportunity.
Nice to see Brad and Angie raise awareness with Nicholas Kristof into women’s plight around the world. Kristof is the most funniest looking feminist I’ve seen in West Hollywod, but what a guy! You can buy St Nicks’ new book . As humanity always has a face, I love Kristof’s choice in book covers. Hot!

DALE THE NATI: A MAORI WOMAN’S VIEW OF HER NATI IDENTITY

I met a black South African woman last week, and when she asked what I was, I told her I was (along with beautiful, intelligent and well-travelled of course) a Nati. And then proceeded to explain what that was. To say she was amazed is an understatement. She’d been led to believe (by people who shall remain nameless - but they’re definitely not Natis) that Maori were poor, oppressed, uneducated, lacking a political voice, and unable to develop/ compete without government funding.
