Native  American Indian actor, Taylor Luatner, is about to turn 18 in four days and he’s already playing the Celebrity Super Bowl game tomorrow (Sunday). As an action star he’s shaping up to be another junior Tom Cruise action movie man of his generation.

Now, Universal Pictures have just announced that Lautner will play the lead character in Stretch Armstrong. But wait, in 3D.

Let’s face it. Taylor Lautner is the man-boy who can play a living action doll the best. He’s already cast as Max Steel for Martel, where Taylor will bring Max the doll to life onscreen and now Stretch Armstrong too! Martel of course, capitalized on Twilight‘s popularity and fame by iconizing Lautner as the Jacob Black doll too. That’s tres impressive within a consumer culture that can’t get enough of this kid and his kick-butt action persona.

Lautner’s martial arts action skills aside, when mapping Hollywood trends; there is money in turning dolls into action movies for the screen people. Expect  Martel to go 3D next too with Lautner also. Martel has the budget.
