TMZ reports that Tina Knowles–fashion designer and Beyonce and Solonge Knowle‘s momma has filed for divorce in Texas from her husband of 29 years, Matthew Knowles. 

Perhaps it has something to do with the paternity suit filed against Knowles in LA 2 months ago.

Tina Knowles is an amazing woman. And after meeting Matthew Knowles in person in LA at Beyonce’s concert, he was a little bit cold and soulless. An extremely driven and ambitious man but yet a lost soul all in one. His emptiness was both chilling and dark and he was also fascinating in his humanness. 

Team Tina for me on this one! Don’t mess with Momma Knowles!

A divorce always makes me sad. Wishing both all the best in a new future of love and life. These are two of the best parents of American show biz. So sad, their love revolved only around getting their children into their American dream, and could not go the distance for each other.
