… the “Holland“ family.

As Annie Leibowitz, Hansel & Gretal photo shoot for Vogue Magazine, featuring Lady Gaga captured my attention today here in Hollywood, I thought it was time to spotlight the artwork and talent of filmmaker and artist entrepreneur, John Robert Holbrook again on Horiwood.Com.

Leibowitz’ photographic artistry, alludes to ‘gingerbread haus economies’ existing in the world, where people live beyond their means, and eat the house in which they live, like Hansel and Gretal were captured by the villain of the tale, because they ate a ginger bread house in the children’s German fable of old.

They were handed over to a wicked witch for a season (played by Stefani Germanotta in Leibowitz photographic art… for Vogue… to learn a lesson of sorts in the fairy tale children’s myth. The global recession perhaps being a metaphor for that ‘witch’ and corrupt leaders–political or corporate– greed who were fattening their people up, for the kill like the witch was to Hansel and Gretal). The children had to escape and incinerate greed to be free.

Therefore, because Gingerbread, is used as the cookie dough metaphor… of something sweet… to tell these stories and make them popular with children to entertain worldwide…. John Robert Holbrook’s ability to think in book series of concepts and products and create a gingerbread man, Gingerbread Jimmi, children’s book series and films for children, is genius… and also of particular interest today to study.

Rather than analyze it personally, I’ll let the words of “Luci” who posted two comments on Horiwood.Com today do the “talking.” Democracy in communication is about dialogue and others comments being included too. That’s why blog’s are great tools of entertainment.

This comment also is from ‘Matthew‘: “John Robert Holbrook – Pharaoh cologne is amazing!! I received this fragrance in my gift bag at the Oscars a couple of years ago and I had trouble finding it when I ran out. I guess the designer only makes 1000 bottles a year so it is pretty exclusive.
** JRH-Pharaoh is available at Sephora and Fred Segal seasonally but I had to reserve at bottle from a boutique in Salt Lake City ‘D Grant Ltd” in the Gateway Mall. I also found it in Park City while I was attending Sundance Film Festival at the “Lanny Barnard Boutique” on Main street. I bought their last bottle.”
