You would think that author, Patricia Cornwell would be leaping over a New Moon, that Angelina Jolie wants to collaborate with her to bring her book series about her crime-solving character, Kay Scarpetta to life for the big screen.
Today however, Patricia Cornwell has other matters on her mind. Like accusing her accountant, for evaporating $40 million of her writing fortune since 2005. Cornwell earns $10 million a year as a writer. Shwing!
Cornwell’s federal lawsuit against Anchin, Block & Anchin LLP, detailed on The Daily Beast. makes for some interesting reading to say the least. She’s a tad loopy, but wealthy people can be as a part of building an elaborate defense mechanism system around them from the threat of potential robbers. Even a newomer as Hollywood hot as Angie is not excused from this scrutinizing lens. So Cornwell is all good.
Let’s hope girlfriend gets her mullah back, as it is robbing her creative energy as a writer, having to fight this case. And how can Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s Plan B film company negotiate about the Kay Scarpetta book series with Cornwell when all she can talk about is her lost fortune?
Not cool for Jolie fans who want to see her step in Scarpetta’s shoes asap on the big screen. The world will just have to wait a little, while the two divas negotiate a fair deal between them.
No wonder why Angie has gone all Gucci on us in Hollywood all of a sudden with director Ridley Scott. Good luck to Patricia in her quest to get her money back. $40 million gone? Cornwell may have been Maddoffed big time!
