This is terrible! British singer, Leona Lewis was doing a book signing in the UK for her biography, Dreams when a 20 year-old lad, who had been cuing in lines for Leona’s autograph, like everyone else, punched Lewis in the face.
Many media outlets reported that Leona had been slapped, but her rep says, it wasn’t a slap it was a punch. At this point, cue Macey Gray‘s Slap A B*tch song, because that man was so crazy. What a dork!
Says her rep: “She was doing a signing to launch her new book. Hundreds of fans had been queuing since last night. A guy came up and punched her to the side of the head. She is absolutely gutted she did not get the signings finished.”
The man has been arrested. Leona Lewis is said to have left the signing in tears. What is the world coming to? The Happy singer, is understandably not very happy today. Lewis has bruising to the side of her face. Poor Leona!!!
This is the perfect time for Leona to do a cover of the Rocky theme song as a power ballad! Always come back fighting. But seriously, she needs a bodyguard like Rocky!
