Against impossible odds in a US recession, Horiwood.Com began, the day after Chris Brown punched Rihanna in the face. The moment was shocking and deserved commenting on. Horiwood, did that. And we’re still going.
Horiwood.Com is America’s first ever celebrity and entertainment news website and blog, written by a Maori New Zealander living in Hollywood. For that title: blood, sweat and tears have gone into that privilege of bringing an eclectic audience who votes on their news choices and content each day, their Hollywood news. 7 months in, and we’re still going.
By November 1st, 2009, Horiwood.Com would have been seen by a million people, 58% in the US, 42% worldwide. (yes, this Maori is more American now as determined by online voting). Thanks everybody. At the time of writing, UK popstar Leona Lewis has sadly just been punched in the face.

Maoris… Hawaiians go absolutely bonkers for horis and horiwood.com. We are their exotics. Its so cool!
