Solange Knowles has quit her record label Interscope Records. Did that little Soul Train Award nomination, for Best New Artist, give her a bit of confidence to make like big sis Beyonce and bust out from her the label that launched her? A-ha!
Anyway, the gracious Solange tweeted this message:
“Although it’s been a wonderful journey & experience at Interscope Records, after truly recognizing what’s important to ME as an artist… …I decided it was time for me to continue my path on a more independent platform… I thank Ron and Jimmy for believing in me as an artist and supporting my journey…and have nothing but respect for the Interscope family… I’m excited about continuing to dive in, experiment and creating music and art with no boundaries, fears or expectations. Gonna be fun folks.”

Krupa vs Chandler’s dualing magazine covers are what everyone’s talking about at the O-Bar at happy hour in Hollywood tonight.
Bar talk seems to lean in favor of Krupa, who at least has her own body featuring in this pic. Technically, that should make Krupa the winner.

Chaz Bono says his gender reassignment surgery allows Chaz and partner, Jennifer Elia to physically have what they’ve always had emotionally: a heterosexual relationship.
“She’s been amazing,” Chaz who is now post-op, told ET. ”I really feel so grateful to be going through this with a partner.”
