The latest installment has brought in $58.4 million at U.S. box office in its first day in US theaters making it the 3rd best Wednesday opener ever. Transformers 2 took $62 million with The Dark Knight, $67.2 million.
Rowling’s Harry Potter film franchise is predicted to usurp James Bond’s record as the most successful film franchise in box office history.
Not bad for the vision from on single-mom in this world. Incredible. Magic. The power that lies within one person’s imagination.
