Tragedy hit Madonna’s Sticky and Sweet Tour in France. While constructing her stage at Velodrome Stadium in Marseille, Thursday one man got killed and six people were injured when a crane collapsed during the installation process. Ick, messsy! The show has been cancelled.
The Material girl released this statement on hearing the rotten news:
“I am devastated to have just received this tragic news. My prayers go out to those who were injured and their families along with my deepest sympathy to all those affected by this heartbreaking news.”
We send our warm thoughts to the family of the deceased and the injured at this time. Sticky and dead, is not a nice way to go, while building the circus tent of someone else’s ego.
