He’s been attacked, hugged a million times and ambushed by girls in New York while filming Remember, so it comes as no surprise that here. Gatecrasher is reporting that Twilight and New Moon star, Robert Pattinson, is very much looking forward to a break from New York, where he’s not so publicly ambushed.
Twilight’s New Moon begins filming in a months time in Canada, so R-Patz does not have long to wait for a more quieter filming location. Judging by the bags under the young stars eyes, The Big Apple and its amorous fans have been taking a toll on Pattinson.

The Jackson family have announced that an all star line up will be attending, Michael Jackson’s Memorial Service at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, Tuesday.
VIP attendees announced by the Jackson family are:
Kobe Bryant; Mariah Carey; Andrae Crouch Choir; Berry Gordy; Jennifer Hudson; Shaheen Jafargholi; Magic Johnson; Martin Luther King III; Bernice A. King; John Mayer; Lionel Richie; Smokey Robinson; Rev. Al Sharpton; Brooke Shields; Pastor Lucious Smith; Usher; and Stevie Wonder.
The Andre Crouch choir are amazing! I saw Andre Crouch perform in New Zealand when I was a wee hori kid. MJ’s memorial service is understandably the big (unexpected) entertainment event of the year. The Andre Crouch choir are performing here Man In The Mirror with Michael Jackson at the Grammys in 1988. Crouch famously did the vocal arrangements on this MJ hit.
