Jon and Kate Gosselin, may have faked a reality TV show, for money and fame (their divorce papers state, the couple have been living separately for 2 years now)… hey they totally tricked us! … but the allusion to the couples very sad divorce, sent ratings through the roof, Monday night for network TLC.
The special one-hour episode, featuring their separation announcement debacle, attracted an unbelievable 10.6 million viewers.
It’s a new record for TLC network, and a million more viewers than their debut episode of this season, which was the previous record.
Why are we fascinated with the Gosselins at all? It’s infuriating… but we all just are! These riveting (NOT!) pics of Kate pumping gas and Jon taking out the trash (how apt!), Monday, show us how the couple are long prepared for their divorce announcement. They seem totally happy and unfazed. Oh… that’s right… all they can hear is “ka-ching”… Splash
