Or does she just need to sit down and have a cuppa tea and a chat to Britney Spears, when Britney has a day off on her Circus Tour?

where did the real Princess Riri go? and at what point was she already actually gone?

where did the real Princess Riri go? and at what point was she already actually gone?

It seems that Rihanna’s world is toxic, full of too many people advising her,  who all draw checks off the singer. This was Britney Spear’s downfall too, until she had management consigned to her, that were all on set salaries by the court.  Who wants to see Rihanna, have a melt down due to a broken heart and go crazy like Britney  Spears did  last year? Who wants to see her possibly die at the hands of Chris Brown in a Nicole Simpson like death? Or get hit again? Who wants to see Rihanna take her own life or risk and flirt with death, like Britney Spears did last year.

These were the similar facts of Britney’s meltdown… a) everyone in Brit Brit’s camp drew checks off Britney, she got tired of propping up that Circus,  b) her man didn’t love her, he was in love with her fame, c) she was a drug addict – Rihanna could be too.

d) Britney thought fame was love, and she didn’t care how she got  it, because it was hers and she’d earnt it. The problem was, all in her camp wanted it too, so Britney was in a battle  with her own fame and trying to exert independence over it. e) Britney knew that fame was what made her money, not necessarily the music, Rihanna does too.

f) Britney was so isolated in mistrust, no one could really get through to her. This week, Rihanna seems insulated. She’s not listening to Oprah, Ellen, Tyra, Katie Couric, her dad Ronald Fenty, although they’ve all reached out to her situation in their own ways. g) she’s no longer a girl, she’s a woman, that happened overnight on December 6th, so I am sure she’ll work it out. h) being very quiet on the matter is her manager Jay-Z and also Beyonce, but perhaps they are waiting for Rihanna to see the light, and are not trying to push Rihanna into Brown’s arms even further.

This may sound crazy, but I think Britney Spears would be the best person to talk to Rihanna… just because Rihanna is now the new Britney caught up in a negative media circus. Rihanna needs to get her management sorted, as Brown was  offering her a pseudo-haven from uncertainties that caused doubt with Rihanna with her management.

Brown as her boyfriend was beginning to take over her life more and more. They often performed and toured together and their lives were becoming more and more intertwined.

To walk away from the most watched dysfunctional media show in entertainment is a hard thing to do when you’re young and you think success is all about the fame. What happens when you have more fame then you’ve ever had? Even if negative reasons got you there? You have been trained in show business your whole teenaged life, that this is success. Why has Chris Brown’s record sales not dropped over this debacle? because the fame sells, it moves existing product.

All a star has to do is appear in front of a camera that wants to see them. Then the fame machine does it’s thing. I hope both Brown and Rihanna don’t lose their work ethic as artists, having now hit a level in their careers where their notoriety and fame, does not necessarily mean they have to work now. Or work as hard. They are both now super famous. Both are carrying fame that very few have carried so intensely. But there is a pop star who has. She’s currently on tour working hard again. And..

That’s why I think Britney Spears has a lot to offer Rihanna at this time. She’s got the skills to give Rihanna some insights. Work it out girls!
