Batman with the late Heath Ledger, made box office history for a movie’s takings in the history of motion pictures. Iron Man with Robert Downey Jnr. also took in truckloads of money, as did Hulk, Hell Boy and Hancock, respectively. Searches on google, even included requests for the trailor of Spiderman 4, a film that is not being released until, 2011!
Well… thank goodness for Barack Obama filling that need as the 44th President of The United States. When a nation is at war, super heros emerge in pop culture! A sense of the invincible is needed to rescue a nation from the grip of harm and rebuild its sense of security and freedom. A super hero is the perfect ticket for the American psyche to rebuild and overcome. Chalk that trend!
