Overachievement Awards: I know it’s Oscars weekend, and I should have a film focus, not an arts-fashion-politics focus from the City of Angels today… but it has to be said that in terms of cultural Ambassadors for America in the past 12 months, no one has worked harder at promoting America to the world, like Lady Gaga, Angelina Jolie and Beyonce Knowles. They are like cultural imperialistic missiles in the President’s hands. They permeate Horiwood.Com like no other stars, and they rate higher each day online in blogosphere-land (3-6 months ahead of mainstream media trending topics) than the President himself; his lovely wife; the loud-mouth and adorable egos of Jay-Z and his hip hop peers… and any other artists, bar the Twilight kids. They are the center of entertainment and American cultural texts being generated and dissemniated today.

As world leaders, masked as stars, they transcend US culture to be Kings and Queens of the world. In Gaga’s case, one year is what it took her. She’s a phenomenon that all power political players (including Queen of the Commonwealth, Regina–Queen Elizabeth II, seek to have a piece of as their new mouthpiece from empire. 

She holds the title of the songwriter of America’s current pop cultural national anthem of Liberty with the bold words: “I’m a free b*tch baby” which is in a one-liner nut shell–the basis of US-led ideology that fuels war for and from American shores and the USA’s allied nations.

So again, go Lady Gaga! Gold medal amabassadorial status, embedded in a get-your-freak-on and let’s go, pop star demeanor. Priceless.

Suggestions of improvement to her “Fame Game” for Lady Gaga: Sing in Chinese and Hindu too… to truly rule the world quicker. Ha ha! ;)
