My mother called from New Zealand, to ask about the tragic shooting at the Fort Hood military base in Texas. From New Zealand, she was worried about the peace of America.

When you live outside of America, the issue is not whether an American dies or an Afghani muslim dies, the issue is that precious people are dying in war’s futile shadow. Blood is being shed. Human life is unsafe at the hands of guns and war. To see Americans die at the hand of military guns within American shores, made my mother very sad for the Texan families in shock and grief. She felt for them deeply.

So… tonight, in light of the tragic shooting of 13 slain American soldiers and 29 others allegedly wounded, at the hands of American military personnel, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, Horiwood.Com sends condolences to the family of all lost and in pain, in Texas. May the Angel of Peace, heal your hearts, minds and community.

When is a film about Columbine going to happen? A film about guns being used on innocent civilians? A film about innocents being slain in military bases or at American high schools? Or any schools around the world?

Now is the time, for such stories to be made for the screen to raise awareness into issues of tragedy in community at the hands of gunmen.

In Hollywood  this day, my wish is that we all have a real sense of Courage To Love beyond war in America, for all Americans and all global citizens who have a passion for both peace in America and a spirit of World Peace around the world.

I offer this book recommend to the American families of the slain and injured, as a healing balm into the issues behind war, that face us all both in America and around the world in today’s world. Regardless of who we are and what we do, let peace reign. This book recommend in the form of a novel may help a lot.
