Aussie actress, Nicole Kidman has cancelled her planned trip to Kenya (Barack Obama‘s dad’s birth country) in her Angelina Jolie-esque role, as Unifem Ambassador of the UN, for the plight of third world women awareness.
Kidman’s rep released a statement that the Australian Oscar-winner is “deeply sorry” but she has “the flu.”
Let’s hope Nicole recovers in peace, quiet and comfort in her Nashville home. She’s more than contributed to charitable and political causes over the last 2 months enough I think. She deserves to put her feet up. Get better soon honey! Take all the time you need to recuperate. :)
Who will go to Kenya? Angelina Jolie (Nicole’s friend) chooses to go to Darfur Sudan, Somalia, Jordan, Iraq and Afghanistan and not Kenya. Perhaps Beyonce should go, instead? It might do her some good, in between winning her swag of ‘auto-generated awards’ this year, to have some contrast in Kenya as her successful I Am Tour has almost completed its multi-million dollar earning success. What a splendid idea. I love Beyonce, she would look stunning in Kenya. :)
