Gwenneth Paltrow’s website GOOP, is hosting a cooking series.
Not a bad idea, in the light of the healthcare plan from Barack Obama recently. America is in dire need of moving their life expectancy rate up from the 50th nation in the world to a bit better than that. Why? Because Americans spend the highest amount on healthcare in the world ($2 trillion per year) and yet 33 million (1/10th of the US population) cannot afford medical insurance which grants them suitable healthcare access.
This means that the system is totally jacked up!
So, diet + exercise are two things that all Americans can improve, to prolong American lives.
I’m all for Gwennie Paltrow and her cooking show endeavors. Rock on girlfriend! There is nothing snobbish about Paltrow at all. She’s actually pretty chill and really good in this video in her kitchen.
The sections of Paltrow’s website are categorized under: Make. Go. Get. Do. Be. See. All things that define American life. The Make and Do sections especially, are 2 things that a consumer nation needs refresher courses on, in a recession. So I love Paltrow’s passion for her country, inciting just that.
Obviously the Cooking Series is under the MAKE section. Just in case we were stupid. Gwenneth Paltrow is on her way, to becoming a long distant, Martha Stewart. Nice positioning for the mom, rocker wife and Hollywood Oscar winning actress. She’s becoming her mom (Blithe Danner) the older she gets. Cute.
