Yes, she should!
Memo: NB TO SIMON COWELL & DAVID GEFFEN – SUSAN BOYLE SHOULD RECORD A DUET WITH THE POPE
The woman from Scotland who has had over 700 million people view her Britain’s Got Talent audition performance of I Dreamed A Dream from Les Miserables, should so record a duet with The Pope whose music CD, Alma Mater drops on November 30th for the Christmas Market.
These two (supposedly) mature virgins are both releasing a debut music album each, and who have interested audiences of hundreds of millions globally… are THE ticket in debut artists with huge global audience appeal (sorry egocentric pop star kids, but THEY ARE!).
I am surprised that Simon Cowell has not yet had dinner with David Geffen to discuss a duet with their respective music talent yet! I mean, after all… isn’t that what talent managers and record producers are supposed to do?
Doh! :)
What do you think of a musical duet between Scotland’s Queen Susan and Pope Benedict XVI. Susan would be a good musical pairing for ‘his holiness,’ and The Pope who is putting the E for entertainment into the new and growing genre of Pop[e] music, could argue that the duet is ‘evanglism’ into SuBo’s 700 million strong global audience base.
Should they duet? Yes! I think they should. What do you think? That could be fun. An album by Pople Benedict XVI (who leads a church of 1 billion people) featuring Ms Boyle guest starring on it, could well and truly beat Michael Jackson’s Thriller album sales, which is still the biggest selling album on the planet.
Cowell and Geffen really do need to have that dinner date!
