Demi  Lovato and Trace Cyrus of Metro Station were tweeting to each other with very warm and friendly messages on twitter over the last two  weeks. But it appears that their twitter ‘relationship’ has ended.

Playing different venues and both trying to get careers off the ground, should perhaps be their priorities and not doing the full on dating thing.

Having  Miley Cyrus as a sister, and best friend in Lovato’s case perhaps doesn’t help the matter. Both Trace and Demi are competing for musical success on the par of Miley, but they don’t have the amount of Disney’s marketing money behind them to achieve Miley’s level of fame.

Perhaps the notion of teaming up, to be a power couple in tween music was a good idea. Sadly, that idea is already burnt through. I hope Lovato remains good friends with the Cyrus clan. She’s a honey! And perhaps the Cyrus clan, need to be a little bit more aware of the effect of their fame on their “friends.”

It’s a learning curve, but you don’t want a reputation as a family, for burning everyone who comes too close to the family! It’s not True Blood, guys!!
