Jermaine Jackson: thanked everyone for coming.
Marlon Jackson (wearing an MJ sequined glove too, like all of the Jackson brothers) said:
“Michael when you left us, a part of us went forever. A part of you will live within all of us. Michael I will treasure the good times, singing laughing and dancing together.
But being judged and ridiculed everywhere he went, how much pain can someone take? Maybe now Michael, they will leave you alone. Michael when I would hug you and say I love you, you response was, I love you more.”
Janet Jackson comforted Katherine Paris Jackson. Although Jermaine Jackson wanted Janet Jackson to speak, Janet asked if the microphone could be lowered so that her niece, Paris Katherine Jackson, could speak instead. In a show biz family, it’s all about the younger generation being encouraged to speak, sing, be… who they are.
Paris Katherine Jackson: ”I just want to say, ever since I was born… he was the best daddy one could ever imagine… I just want to say I love him so much.” As Paris broke down in tears, Michael Jackson’s mirrored covered-finish coffin, was wheeled out of The Staples Center, to a musical rendition of his song Man in The Mirror.
