With a #1 hit single, Boom Boom Pow in America, why has Perez Hilton had a longstanding hate campaign going with American Super Group, The Black Eyed Peas?

It’s a mystery to us all. The Peas have hot music! The Black Eyed Peas are set to have the album of the Summer.

Their new album The E.N.D is brilliant and there’s A LOT of good music packed into it.

Perhaps looking at the lyrics of BOOM BOOM Pow, will shed some light on Mario Lavandeira’s distate of The Peas and music matermind behind the group, and Barack Obama favorite, Will I Am.

The theme of Boom Boom Pow is a critique on a generation who feel so entitled.. to want everything now. It’s a great social commentary of brats wanting more and everything now in our times. Is that why Lavandeira hates the song so much? Here they are (my bolded lyrics may give us some clues why):

HORIWOOD: Perhaps because bloggers “jack everyone else’s swagger”, Lavandeira hates The Black Eyed Peas for calling him out on that.

That’s the only thing I can think of that Hilton would have disdain for The Black Eyed Peas by waging a big hate campaign against them months ago.
