After making talent Show creator and TV producer, Simon Fuller uber rich, the highly exploitative Simon Cowell now wants to be him.
Everyone’s favorite snarky gay man in a straight man’s body, Cowell, has announced that he’s collaborating Sir Phillip Green, a British retail billionaire (behind The TopShop brand). The duo are hoping to do exactly what Simon Fuller is doing in both the UK and America by developing talent shows.
After watching Cowell and Fuller exploit Susan Boyle so repeatedly in her treatment and handling, it’s now wonder why Cowell is so all up in controlling Susan Boyle’s mix and star power right now. He wants SuBo’s 300 million strong global audiences for his new show.
One still has to admire this power hungry empire builder though. Ambition is always good, if used to the right end result. Giving to others. Let’s hope with this new freedom that he treats talent better in his new shows than how he’s exploited Susan Boyle of Scotland.
