TV network, TLC are stuck with reformatting the new developments in Jon & Kate Gosselin’s separate lives for the Jon & Kate Plus 8 TV series.
This is because Jon Gosselin effectively put his foot down, and filed for divorce, although Kate was happy to keep up with the facade and pretend they were married for TLC’s cameras.
As you know it’s expensive hiring two crews when two ‘actors’ refuse to film the original TV concept together on the same ‘set’ (at the Gosselin home).
So Jon, turns out to be both a father and a bit of a budding TV producer as well, by halting production and altering the format of the show. Nice one Jon.
Anyway, TLC’s official reasons go something like this: “Due to the ever present marital problems, next week’s episode will feature clips of unseen footage, but following that there will be no new episodes until August, since there is not enough footage to forge ahead at this time.”
TLC have only aired 6 of the 40 commissioned episodes of the Jon & Kate Plus 8 TV series for this season.
Isn’t it time for two new shows called, New York Bachellor Plus 8, and H8ting Kate, yet? I like the last one… because dear Kate Gosselin’s naked ambition does bring on the haters and the drama all at the same time.
Actually, it’s totally tragic that this family and marriage got derailed over a bit of fame. Family is ALWAYS worth more than fame. Therein lies the message, I think. I do feel really sad for them, that they were that naiive to cash family in for cash and fame. So wrong, silly and sad!

To read Kate Gosselin’s statement as to why her and Jon are divorcing, read below:
“Over the course of this weekend, Jon’s activities have left me no choice but to file legal procedures in order to protect myself and our children. While there are reasons why it was appropriate and necessary for me to initiate this proceeding, I do not wish to discuss those reasons at this time, in the hope that all issues will be resolved amicably between Jon and myself. As always, my first priority remains our children.”
Jon Gosselin’s statement is:
“This afternoon, Kate filed for divorce. Our kids are still my number one priority. I love them and want to make sure they stay happy, healthy and safe. My job is being the best, most supportive and loving father that I can be to my kids, and not being married to Kate doesn’t change that. This will be a difficult transition for all of us, but Kate and I will work out a schedule that enables our kids to have plenty of quality time with both of us at home in Pennsylvania. In terms of my marriage, it’s no secret that the past six months or so have been very difficult for Kate and me. We are no different than other couples and parents who are facing a crossroads in their marriage. I am of course deeply saddened that we are divorcing.”
Sad! But as I keep saying on this website, at least John has got his balls back again! That’s the only good I see in this. Your thoughts?

Good riddance to a horrible concept and a marriage wrecker of a show. Hopefully now Kate will have some time to reflect upon the type of person she has become and John can move on to another woman who’ll actually love him and treat him like a human. The kids are the real losers in all this in my opinion. I sure hope it turns out and Kate doesn’t try to use the kids against John in the public media. She just seems like the type to pull a stunt like that.
