Oh dear, just when things were looking up for Angelina Jolie, and she’s crowned the #1 celebrity in the world, over Oprah, Madonna, and Jennifer Aniston… her semi-estranged father, John Voight misbehaves badly!
The Huffington Post reports this on Voight: ‘Jon Voight’s speech at last night NRCC-NRSC dinner was a carefully crafted jingoist clap-a-thon, larded with dominionist, eschatological messages to stir up the theocratic nutbags, while hitting the usual right wing punching bags: the media, Hollywood, Joe Biden, the stimulus package, Congressional Democrats.
In true rally-the-right fashion, he not only dissed Democrats and Obama, but took it a step further by implying Obama is the Anti-Christ, calling him “this false prophet.”
I wonder what Angie is going to be saying about all this? She’s even stronger than what we give her credit for.
Jon Voight is one of the most amazing living actors there is (he’s brilliant!), but when your dad is the one you had to survive because he’s so irrational too, before Angelina even took on the harshness of Hollywood, that’s a tough life Ms Jolie has had indeed. And by the looks of things… is still having!
What a woman! And what does Barack Obama and Michelle Obama and Brad Pitt think of this?! The drama is on in America! David Carradin, has some competition by one of his peers, today.
Having seen John whose a regular at a diner in the valley each Sunday in Studio City, it’s Angie’s brothers job, whose always there with him, to keep daddy Voight in line. Sorry James Haven but it is! Dude… you’re in so much trouble too! :)
