It’s being reported, that the Japanese are crazy for a Twilight vampire flick meets Angels & Demons film. Twilight star Cam Cigandet is going to bring it, when he appears in Priest.

Based on a TokyoPop comic series, Priest features a world where vampires and humans are at war with each other. Actor Paul Bethany will star as the priest (probably because Ewan Mcgregor of Angels & Demons wasn’t available), who defies his religious order to save his niece from vampires who have tweennapped her. She’s like Kristen Stewart of Twilight, in need of protecting.

Wanting to be a romantic leading man, like he’s seen Robert Pattinson do onset in both Twilight and new moon, Cam Gigandet’s character has a secret crush on the aforementioned niece and flies in to rescue her.

Let’s wish Cam all the best. Even if he gets 10% of Robert Pattinson’s starglow for even entertaining talks of starring in this flick, that’s got to be a good thing for him and his Twilight cast and crewmates cam.

Who would have thought that the Japanese are some of the most die hard Twilight fans in the world, but they are!
