Stephenie Meyer Rocks

Stephenie Meyers is one of those peeps  that just totally inspires. She’s sold 29 million books last year and earned herself $50 million. Not only that, but each novel she writes, that then hits the big screen is proving that Meyers is writing Hollywood and entertainment’s big studio checks not just magical literary fairy tales alone.

We also love her because her work creates the big breaks for newbie actors like Taylor Lautner and she enhances actors of promise  into superstardom like with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

For 17-year-old Taylor Lautner, without people who have courage to love youth, new blood is rarely introduced. Thankfully Meyers fearlessly writes for young people, and Sephenie more than anyone else in Hollywood has created a lifeblood of new talent for Hollywood’s stronger and more diverse future. We totally love her too as a globally (and historically) conscious artist who includes and promotes indigenous people and their plight to be a part of a contemporary future in the modern world. Meyers did this with her Native American Indian casting where Latuner again, and new actors like rising heartthrob Alex Meraz, Chaske Spencer, Bronson Pelletier, Solomon Trimble and Kiowa Gordon all were cast in her stories that capture our imagination and attention.

Her work asks deeply rooted cultural questions (just as poignantly as literary greats William Faulkner and Toni Morrison do concerning African-Americans’ history), when Meyers asks: “where are the people who first founded this great nation of America?” Then she proudly and intelligently showcases America’s founding forefather’s children to the world in unique roles that makes us feel her sense of justice and pride of place for them too.

She redresses history by reimagining it for us into the contemporary, veiling it in the difference of vampires, humans and wolves that co-exist in a world of Twilight. Meyers magically shows that love can overcome any differences between two people who decide to love each other, no matter what the odds may say that are seemingly pitched against their love.

Her books that we know and love to date, are: Twilight, New Moon, The Host, Breaking Dawn and Eclipse.

She inspires every writer in a recession to create employment for many others, not just herself, and to bring joy to young people, in particular, in the world. Stephenie Meyers is an outstanding example that writers and artists are the architects and visionaries of a brand new world. They can see with creative gifts and then through storytelling and the arts, they can then write our tomorrow.
