With Lady Gaga so talented and hot on the music scene, Christina Arguilera has been forced to work  her non “mediocre face” to reinvent herself in the music and entertainment game by taking it to the big screen.

Arguilera is going the way of triple threat Beyonce and now Precious actress, Mariah Carey, in adding actress to her singing and dancing resume. 

Arguilera has gone back to her Moulin Rouge big hit roots, and is set to act in the film Burlesque. Oscar winning diva, Cher, is in talks to play the owner of the Burlesque club who mentors Christina Arguilera’s character. In other words she’s Christina’s all knowing yoda, to help revive the actresses career! It’s going to be a case of diva star wars onscreen. You know it!

Needless to say these are two of the best show girls, live, in the business. Let’s hope they have a part for Vegas Peep Show star and original scary and fearless Spice Girl, Mel B, who’d also be great in the film and of course the most famous Burlesque artist in the world, Miss Dita Von Tess. Go girls, go get em!

Congrats Cher and Christina, that’s a nice take on “The Musical is Back” current trend in Hollywood. Fierce! The film is to be directed by Steve Antin, brother of Pusscat Dolls founder, Robin Antin. Nice!
