Solange Knowles, the breeder of the Knowles sisters, did a remarkable cover of Björk’s song, It’s Oh So Quiet while Touring Belgium recently. 

Solange is following in the footsteps of her older sister Beyonce, whose covering Sarah McClaughlin and Alanis Morissette on her I Am Tour. Covering white girls is the way to go for black girls in the age of Barack Obama, so the Knowles girls think. It makes them relatable black femal  artists and not just singers.

Anyway, if Björk would wear her swan dress to a Motown studio, this is what Solange’s cover of Oh So Quiet sounds like. I like her take on it. Nice job!
