Lady Gaga will do an original version of Dusty Springfield’s classic, Nothing Has Been Proved. Gaga will perform the vintage single with The Pet Shop Boys this Wednesday at the Brit Awards. The song is a throwback reference to British Political life when in 1963 a political scandal called the Profumo Affair saw Minister John Profumo involved in an affair with Christine Keeler, a showgirl. Congrats to Lady Gaga getting a Dusty Springfield nod. Wannabe and yet brilliant, Duffy, must be pi*sed that she never got asked!!! Work it Lady Gaga!
